Absolutely! I think that's the way it should be. But, since it's not, I do vote multiple times, not for 2 straight hours, or hundreds of times, but I will re-dial for awhile after the show. I figure everybody else does, so that's the way it is. If they changed the process I would be fine with that and I think it would be better.

The results show is on later than normal tonight, isn't it? 9/8 central????

I love the song Don't Cry Out Loud, Diana gave me goosebumps when she sang it, fantastic!!!

While at lunch, I saw a little of a message (where you read the info. on the bottom of the screen...) on CNN about AI giving 2 extra hours for voting for the final show. Has anyone else seen this? If this is so, sounds like Jasmine got through last night!

Last year they increased the voting time to 3 hours, sounds like their just adding on another hour this year.

I don't know if they said it last night, but I heard on the radio this morning that it was on at 8:00. That is EST.

I had just found out during the show that my Grandmother has cancer, spread all over her body, and they can't do anything for it. So, I was crying throughout my 'call campaign'...

What I meant was neither Fantasia nor LaToya need(ed) to WIN the competition at this point. You're right, AI got their voices out there. But the only way someone like Jasmine can get a record deal is by winning AI. So she "NEEDS" AI. That's the point I was trying to make...

The internet presale started May 17, so I got tickets as soon as they went on sale. So I'll be going to the August 29 show at Continental Airlines Arena.

I've seen a couple lists online, of how the vote totals went, but I don't know if any of them are right. One said that Fantasia had the lowest, another said that Jasmine had the lowest (but that was before the west and Hawaii zone were counted), and another one said that Aunt Edna (who usually predicts the right person) said Diana would be leaving tonight. I sure hope the Aunt Edna thing is right, that would just make my day.

Very interesting! So there are totals out there BEFORE the results show? interesting!

Oh no! I would hate that. I want Diana to stay more than anyone even though I do think Jasmine is a sweet girl. If Diana is voted off tonight then all my multiple votes next week will go to Jasmine!!!
