Off to Paris on Fri but not DLRP!!

Hi all,

I'm off to Paris on Friday til Sunday but unfortunately not DLRP .

I work for a coach firm and we run our own holidays as well as private hires and school runs. Our trip to Paris goes on friday morning at 5.50am and my friend and I are going on it too! My boss (who's also our very good friend) is driving the coach along with our best young driver. There's only 22 booked on it and the others are, shall I say - passengers of a more mature age than myself and my friend(38), my boss (45) and other driver (35)!!!

We're staying at the Ibis Paris La Villette and will be having a day and a half to explore the city, unfortunately not visiting disney and the rides, but I've never been into the city centre so am excited about it, although I have a feeling I may come back feeling a bit ill (er, drunk!!) knowing the company I'll be keeping!

So any hints and tips about visiting would be appreciated.

Have a fab time, Lynn! DH and I are visiting Paris for his birthday weekend a week on Friday... I've got a restaurant booked for Saturday night but, apart from that, we'll just be mooching around...
