October weather

I will be going in mid October and have never been at that time of the year before...is it still rainy and how cool is it at night?

When we went in October I was surprised at how hot it still was. It was more humid than I thought it would be as well. We wore shorts & tees the entire time & were always sweating! Could have been an unusual week but it was 90 the whole time & sticky.

we vacation every two year in October to coincide with UK school holidays, we have found it is the best time to go ans there are fewer thunderstorms, less rain,more sun and more comfortable temperatures, going again this October, can't wait

We go in October every year. Then weather can vary quite a bit. I remember last year we had to wear long sleeves in the morning on a couple of occasions, but a few years ago, it was unbearably hot. It's never been extremely chilly, though. We drive, so we usually have on fall clothes when we leave home. If we need something for chilly nights this is what we use.
The rain is not near what it is during part of the summer, but you can still expect it maybe a day or two. It varies just as the temps do.
Overall, the weather is very good. Usually pretty warm to hot during the day, with the early mornings and nights being a bit chilly. We love to go this time of year!

We've been a bunch of times in Oct. We have never had to wear anything other than shorts and t-shirts, but is has been hot and humid a few times.

October is a great time of year in Florida, but you may need a sweater in the evenings especially if you will be near the water.

We were in WDW last October..the first and second weeks. It was still hot and humid. But the whole time we were there we experienced no rain what-so-ever. It was perfect! As far as evenings go..it was comfortable. No jacket or pants needed. Great, great weather!
