October crowds/weather

If you have been to WDW in October, how are the crowds and weather? Is it swimming weather?

Crowds are lighter than summer but not as light as Sept & Nov. Weather is usually very nice, yes, you can swim ...even us thin blooded Floridians can still swim in October October use to be a very slow month, but for the last few years, tourism has picked up (maybe due to extra events during that month)

We went in October for our 1st trip and it was hot! 90's the whole trip. So yes, swimming would be good.
Crowds were ok. I've only been twice so its hard to say.
May and October crowds were pretty much the same.
I think we had about 40 minute waits for the big rides. No fast pass then though.
