Ok, just caught up with pages 942-970 - geez - you lot talk a lot:goodvibes

We are now having to use a wireless router and it crashed about page 954:mad: , but I have made it to 970 now so hopefully it was just a set up glitch:confused3

I just now heard about these message boards and was so suprised to see the cruise we are going on to have a thread! Woohoo! We have been planning for two years now. This is our second cruise. Our first one was Oct 04 on the Wonder.

We are in room 8516 and will be traveling with our two boys as well as my nephews...who are 18 & 20 and need to remember how to be a kid sometimes. We loved our last cruise and hope that with the extra couple of days we can fit everything in this time. hahahahahahaha

Welcome Susan:banana: - nice to have you onboard out thread. I'm Karen, hubby is Neil and our ds is Ellis age 7.

Don't feel bad, I haven't heard from Karen (must not have "worked out" yet this week :rotfl2:

Ddint get to the gym all week this week:rolleyes1 - I hate the thought of paying £50 for nothing:rolleyes: - been too busy humping;)

Hello

Talking about meeting girls. I beleive AFEG (A Fat English Gent) might have a girl about the same age as your nephews.
.

AFEG is VERY protective over his daughter - she's stunning and I imagine he stands behind her with a big bat just incase someone tries to talk to her:rotfl:

So another workout under my belt! :scared: I've changed it up a bit so hopefully I will finally see some good results soon! And since we leave for Orlando EXACTLY 3 months from today, I have promised myself to do five workouts EVERY week, NO EXCUSES! :yay:

How's everyone else doing??? I think there's only 4 of us who weighed in last Friday...hopefully everyone is just too busy to get to the KK site.

We miss you Linda and Karen! Hopefully everything ok with you both! :grouphug:

And Chris, we miss you too!

Well done Cass, you're going to be so fit by the cruise. My weight is going in the wrong direction:sad2: - too little time and too easy to get take out at the moment.

I've missed you all too, but I'm back now so loads of posts to catch up on.:scared1:

A little bit of good news finally

Looks like we found a new place to live finally!! So it looks like we may be moving on August 26th :dance3: Date is not set in stone just yet

Then I can finally unpack and maybe find the DIS tag gifts I bought 4 months ago :lmao:

What'd ya buy? What'd ya buy? Tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me please! lol

I have lost track of time - I was thinking I had lots of time until excursion booking but now its within the next few weeks (WOO HOO)

so questions/comments needed.

1. Key West - this one is easy - lighthouse, southern most point, key lime pie

2. Grand Cayman - thinking of the Pirate Encounter. I have never booked anythign before - do we get to book from a variety fo timeslots or will there just be one time. Does anyone know the time available? I will have a 5 year old with me - does anyone know if they provide life vests for kids to swim in? probably want one for the 8 year old too. Is it worth the $$. Its only 40 minutes at the actual stop - will my kids get bored during the 45 minute boat ride? are there any onboard entertainmnet (pirate show??)

3. Cozumel - I was hoping to go to a Beach - any suggestions on which one? DO you think we should book somethign or just grab a cab. We have both travelled a bit and feel comfortable taking cabs unless people dont recommend it as I know Mexico has becoem more dangerous in recent years

4. Castaway Cay - we were just going to enjoy the island - do we really need to pre-book bikes as we liked the idea of going biking but it was going to depend on how hot it is. Same thing with the snorkel gear. I think this would be a good place for the kids to try snorkelling as it wont be too deep - but do we have to book in advance or just when we get to the island?

All help is appreciated

Sounds the same as our choices:thumbsup2 I really hope there is space by the time I get to book the pirate encounter:rolleyes:

Wow, Linda and Karen back on the same day.

Who said Friday the 13th was unlucky? :cool1:

BTW Linda, you left yourself at 996. You need 4 more posts and quick.

Hi Karen, welcome back on board. Did ya miss us?

I heard Hell was only a quick Photo Op with the sign - but I did hear that the Turtle Farm was pretty cool.

I'm going to Hell and taking the family with me! LOL We are doing the quick island tour thing just to see around. I did hear from another cruise line cruiser that the turtle farm was very hands on blah blah blah and my kids love animals. We are not doing the butterfly one because it wasnt much more to do and took more time away. Does anyone know if there is a like market type tourist place in walking distance of the ship. We want to do that kind of thing.

Early morning for the UKers, but they seem to be non-existant lately on this thread.

Heather has been around though.
Chris disappeared.
Karen isn't working out, so she can't DIS. :lmao:
Linda is probably still hung over from her B-day party. :drinking1 :headache:

I'm catching up slowly - its your fault for getting everyone to post soooo much.

Nei land I are sooooo sad - as soon as the phone line was connected I'm on the pc upstairs in the office and Neil is on his lappy down in the lounge. Neither of us will stop interneting to cook lunch but we're both starving:lmao: - you'd think we'd been away for months not 3 weeks.:lmao:

Welcome back Karen !!!:)

I would have missed you ike crazy, if I hadnt been off the thread too ! Glad we are both back. Poor Heather and Chris, having to keep the UK side of the thread going ! Thanks you two ! :thumbsup2

This board can be quite addictive - once you start its hard to stop. I look at it each morning during the week and most evenings too!

Erm....yes it can! - I had a life once before I found this site:lmao:

Just to clarify on DIStag. That is 16 total, so you bring 15 gifts unless, of course, you wish to tag me twice!!:yay:

Nice try Nancy:lmao:

Don't worry Susan, I've been on this board for almost a year and I still don't remember all the names.

Note to everyone, if I call you the wrong name, just nod your head and smile. It will give you practice for when you meet the UKers and can't understand them. :lmao:

I wont have any problem - no-one will be able to understand my accent anyway so I could call you all Fred and no-one would be any the wiser:lmao: - you'll all just nod, smile and walk away thinking "what did she just say?":lmao:

Hello Karen... I'm thrilled to have found you all. And I am sure you are in for a lot of reading... just overnight there is like 5-10 pages. Loved seeing the pics! I am thinking the 10 page night was when they were trying to make a new record on pages though. And with everyone so talkative do you think when everyone meets onboard they will stand there all shy?

Like the kids say, when traveling in the back of the car

" are we there yet?"

am I over 1000 posts now ?

Thank you and welcome back. lol I'm not real shy. Mary is but I am not.

off to collect Elouise from school, then we are going to the local farm, to do some craft class thingy. She loves doing this and it tires her ouot, so shes in bed at a reasonable time tonight. It gives me and Wayne some adult time then. Last night she was still singing and dancing around her room at 10.30pm !!!!.................. I had to tell her to be quiet as I needed to get to sleep!
Yesterday I went to the new Next in Sailsbury and helped them open the store. It was chaos but fun. What with workmen still building at 9am and we open at 2pm !!!! LOADs of new staff, who are not to sure what to do etc !!! I have had a call requesting I go back Sunday and run the store. Im quite pleased to be asked, I get extra money and 44p a mile petrol, so thats a nice little earner, for my hols! :)

Susan ,,whos cruising with you ?

Guess I missed that in the 10000s of posts ! ;)

We are from the UK, its me linda who going to be 40 on Tuesday, my husband Wayne and our Daughter Elouise who is 5. We have cruised on the Wonder, loved it so much booked for the Magic this Oct. We will have 10 days at WDW before the cruise and 1 night after.
We love Florida and try and go every year. Though next year we are crusing the med for 2 weeks on RC. Wayne and I, for my birthday celebrations are on RC in March for a week on the Liberty. ADULT cruise, so cant wait in some ways, but sad to leave Elouise behind in others.
