Saturday 11th October Day 8

Early entry today at MGM Studios so we were up early and caught the boat to the studios – a lovely way to travel. As soon as we got in we headed to RnR and got a fast pass then back to ToT my favourite ride. This was my first time on it with the seat belts – much better. Even better with no hand’s DH wasn’t keen on this though :bounce:

Back to Rock and Rollercoaster – another good ride – do you all sing a long like me We headed over to the Haunted Mansion Set, it had only opened today. It is basically a warehouse with some props and costumes of the film and then a short film about the making of the movie. It was good but I wouldn’t go out of my way to see it. After this was DH’s second favourite attraction Who wants to be a millionaire. I always’ get scared as if I was top of the leader board I wouldn’t want to go into the hot seat in front of all of those people. Dh got in the leaderboard again, he could go in the hot seat and win me a cruise now I wouldn’t mind that LOL.

We did the backstage tour after this – a lot of the stuff backstage was fenced off in preperation for the new stunt show. On this tour you could see Captain Barbosas outfit from the Pirates of the Caribbean movie. pirate:

We went back to TOT again and even got DH to take his hands off the handles this time. Just outside of the TOT is a drinks stand and you can get something like a coffee frapp there yippee.

Back to the hotel via the boat and then down to Luna Park Pool for a dip and a spell in the hot tub.

Dinner this evening was at Chef Mickey’s, usual routine bus to MK and monorail to Contemporary. It was very busy here, we had PS for 5pm and at 4.45pm there was already a massive queue. The annoying thing is this queue was for both PS’s and walk-in’s. So you could arrive 10 mins early for your PS and spend 15 mins in the queue just trying to check in.

Dinner was yum, pamasan mashed potatoes and Mickey Raviolli were my favourite, DH loved everything. After dinner we got the monorail back to the MK and went in to see our first taste of the new fireworks WISHES. We found a perfect spot right in the middle of Main Street USA. Between Casey’s and the Ice Cream parlour. These were the best fireworks we have ever seen – how do you get fireworks to make heart and face shapes?? As soon as WISHES had ended there was an almighty rain and thunderstorm :umbrella: – I have never seen anything like it. Luckily I had seen there was a possibility of rain and we had brought our Ponchos with us. We sheltered at the Plaza restaurant along with everyone else in the park that night LOL.

After the rain had eased off we headed in to Tomorrowland and brought a Alien Encounter pin – our last opportunity. We got a fass Pass for Buzz and then went on Carossel of Progress – we had never done this before it had always been closed while we were here. DH liked the song – all together ‘theres a brand new beautiful tomorrow’ the smell was very musty in here – you could tell it hadn’t been used in a while. We went on Buzz – DH won again – predictable though. A quick visit to the Haunted Mainsion – I think it is scarier doing this at night. Then we went down to the end of main street to get our spot for Spectomagic. We love Spectro and I stuck up a conversation with our pavement ‘neighbours’. We headed out to the bus after this and home to the Boardwalk.

Wonderful reviews ~ Thanx for sharing.

I always sing on RnR too, hehehe.

Wow, Wishes sounds awesome, I can't wait!!!
