It sounds like a blast, Barb. Are you "planting" things to find? What are a few of the 20 items so far? Just asking so that it gives me idea of what you want and then I can help you think of items. Another way of getting ideas is to post it on the cruise board and maybe those people will have ideas, too.

Heidi is home and tired. It is now my turn to do the yucky laundry. I swear it will be a weekend event. Actually tomorrow I am having Stacey and Richard over for his birthday dinner. Every year he asks for homemade calzones. I hate making them but he LOVES them. Sooo......being the nice person :p that I am I do it every year.

Calzones, yumm!

Barb: The scavanger hunt sounds like fun just as long as none of the other passengers finds the items first.

Ollie is home. He just wants to rest and take a bath, but Kaleigh is so excited to see him, that she doesn't want to leave him alone. They had to shave his paw to put in the IV. It looks weird.

Just having some "me" time, so I signed on.

Hi all...

Barb sorry to hear aobut Tiffany and the car...at least it was only the car that was hurt and not Tiffany. It is an inanimate object so that is good. Savenger hunt sounds terrific! Don't hide things though. Give hints to find stuff on board...pictures etc.

Glad the week is over. It didn't end on a great note unfortunately.
I was asked to babysit while my DIL goes to AC. I told her to drop Olivia off since it is on the way. Of course she informed me I would have to "baby-proof" the house since Olivia is walking holding on now. DUH! Well...then it changed. They wanted me to drive 1 hour each way to their house to watch her...understand that they have to practically pass by my house to get to AC. Apparently they felt that I would not clean the house well enough or watch Olivia close enough and she might put something in her mouth like a fur ball or something! DUH!! I have disowned my son. He seems to forget that I raised him and he is still living ...although now that I think of it he doesn't seem to have all his brain or heart cells functioning!! At this time I want nothing to do with either of them! I wasted 26 years of my life raising him!

Well...that's about it. Moving on.

Sandy/Ted-if you come to DC I will try to make it down there to see you all!!! Would even take a day or 2 off of work...if it isn't in the next 2 months that is...re-org and unable to even get out to see Glenn. I am heartsick over that!
Calzones??? I love them!! Heart attack on a plate!
Lori-too funny about that little girl. I can just picture Olivia being like that when she gets older! UGH!!

Up early for Turner's hockey game this morning and then joined his school for the St. Patrick's Day parade. His school always wins the "Most Green" award! After the parade I cam home and took a 3 hour nap. I'm still fighting this cold. Not much else happening here.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.
Later!

Hi guys, it was a busy day yesterday. We got so much accomplished. Poor Heidi put her film in for one hour processing on Friday at Walgreens. They totally screwed up her order. After the 3rd try she gave up. They did turn out wonderful fro the most part. Walgreens air brushed them so the color is so vibrant. We dealt with that all Friday and Saturday. Calzones went over real big. Played Mexican train after dinner with Heidi, Stacey and Richard. Darn, I had to win 4 games. :teeth: :hyper:

Bonnie, I am sorry for everything that you are going through with Ryan. I honestly feel that he will come around. I just think the new marriage, a baby and becoming head of house has preoccupied his mind. I bet when everything gets "old", he will remember dear old mom!!!! I was shocked to learn that Olivia is starting to "walk". How old is she? Heidi is suppose to go back to DC soon but I hope it can be put off for awhile so you can meet us there. I was hoping you would do that!!! ::yes::

Thanks Susan!! I have a slight cold now. I don't know anyone else with it so I have to blame YOU! Take care! By the way, Heidi used my camera to take to DC and it had some leftover WDW film in it. When it got developed I had a few pics of Turner. I will send them to you. Pretty cute! You can even "frame" Julie with them. OH HICKORY !!

Denine, me time sounds heavenly. I am having that too. Ted and Heidi are up skiing right now so the house is all MINE! It is sooooo quiet. I love it.

Barb, there was a list of things to look for on the ship on a web site (I think it was Dave's) that I ran across researching for OUR cruise. It had clues to hidden Micky's all over the ship. Look for something about 'hidden Micky's' and that should add quite a few more items to your list.

Sandy, what's 'Mexican train'?

Bonnie, I seem to be the last ditch sitter for my neighbor's toddeler. My house is not babyproof anymore (plus, now I have stuff that I don't want trashed by curious hands), so after the first time ran me ragged watching her, I told them to bring a playpen the next time. That way, whenever I wasn't directly holding her, she could play with interesting new things that I handed her and give my back a break. She really enjoyed throwing things at me and the dog:rolleyes: I'd pretend that I was reading and she'd pull a 'sneak attack' and just laugh. Playpens don't have to be a prison. Suggest that, maybe? That way you can hold her most of the time, follow her around some, but if you need to answer the phone or go to the bathroom, she can be safely in the playpen.

Barb, can you think of a hotel near Garden of the Gods that's got an indoor pool and maybe a playground? Thanks

OK, time to run. Planning a camping-via-rafting trip for the first week of June. Wow, I haven't been called into work yet. Sat. was 7 hours. Maybe I'd better get started on some yard work. The vegi garden plot needs to be cleared out.

Have a great weekend everyone.
-oh, ps- Susan, loved the hockey smiley guys

Hmmmmm, I sent over a site for a picture but it doesn't work so never mind. This post never happened. No, I have not gone crazy. It was a cool pic of Donald flying on Mickey's Philharmagic. I was sending you directly to the pic but it won't allow me. :scratchin And for some strange reason, it won't allow me to delete this post. Sorry!

I love Mexican train!!!

Can't sleep...too many things going on this next week.
Spring break, Clare's b-day, etc, etc.

Krista

I can finally say I feel better. Sandy - I hope you get well soon.

Everyone have a great Monday!
Later!

Good Morning!!

Lori- Where did you find that list?? I have been searching everywhere and can't find it. I would love to see it.

I am trying to come up with ideas that then can find on board not that I have to plant. I think planted stuff will dissapear. Maybe hide one thing so there is only one winner. Hummmmmm

Susan-Glad you are feeling better.

Bonnie-I can't believe how inconsiderate your son and his wife are! What a slap to you that they don't want her at your house. I hope he realizes what he is doing to you. Doesn't he realize you have this big bad Disney family that will show him a thing or two!!

We are on the rebound from Tiffany's accident. Now that the shock is over we are moving ahead finding new solutions for the problem. Thanks again for all your kind words. I was really in a state after that.

I got my costume "mostly" finished Saturday. THANKS MOM!! Sure helps having a Mother that can sew and has patience to boot!! She help me so much and I really really appreciated it.
Love you Mom :wave2:

Hi guys, couldn't get on the board until now. It just wouldn't open. Hope everyone is having a good day. I did......I spoiled myself with a manicure.

Geez! I have been having a hard time getting on the boards. Saturday I got booted off by AOL, Sunday I didn't have time and today they just wouldn't open.

Nothing going on. I have had a slight cold for the last couple of days. We are blaming Sue for this, right?

We are expecting snow, again! They are talking 5-10" by tomorrow evening, and then more snow on Wednesday.

I have my corned beef and potatoes for St. Patty's Day.

Found this recipe for chai tea in the paper on Sunday. I thought I had all the ingredients except for the evaporated milk. I ended up going back to the store for cardamom. Do you know how much that stuff costs??:scared1: I had already made up the spiced milk and the cardamom was the main spice. You make a cup of tea and add some spiced milk and a little sweetener. The milk smells good.

Bonnie: Maybe we should all tell your son and his wife a thing or two. How rude they have been to you! My in-laws house isn't even close to being baby proof and they don't attempt to put anything away. We have to watch Kaleigh like a hawk! :magnify:
Jerry's parents aren't able to chase after her. I would never leave Kaleigh at their house alone. But, you are able bodied and intelligent. They are just being rude.

Barb: SOunds like you got a lot acomplished this weekend.

Lori: Rafting looks like it could be fun, but I am too chicken! :duck:

Sandy: I could use a manicure! I bet it was heavenly!

I had the hardest time getting on the Boards. It kept telling me I am "Unregistered". How can I be unregistered when I have been on the boards for almost two years!

Bob's son has been deployed. His Marine Unit is going to Iraq. Bobby is very sad:( :( .

Joyce is on a cruise:boat: with her sisters & saying good-bye to her dad's ashes.

SANDY: I still have not made Ron Jon Resort reservations but thank you for all your information.

Too much going on - my Aunt (77) who lives with my Mom (78) is in the hospital with CHF so now someone has to be with my Mom 24 hours a day & boy is this creating a problem since we all WORK! I am an only child so it is all on me but the "good" son has been staying with her at night & my cousin's son during the day (since he isn't working). I am leaving of Long Beach, Californina, on April 3rd & have a million things to do but now who knows when I will be able to do them.

Hope you all have a great week. Sorry for rambling on AGAIN. Back to work tomorrow. Toodles:wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE

Jeanne: P & PD to Bobby's son in Iraq. I hope your aunt gets better soon and everything gets back to normal.

Well, it is snowing, as promised. We are to get up to 10" of snow and we are taking Kaleigh to get her 18 month pictures taken in her Easter dress. She won't be 18 months till next week, but I wanted the pictures back before Easter.

Jerry made our OKW ressies for after the cruise! :Pinkbounc We are staying for 4 days after the cruise. We have to eat our way around the "world" at the F & W festival. ::yes::

Nothing else going on.

Hi guys, I couldn't get on either. It has been very hard the last couple of days.

Denine, yes we are blaming Susan for the colds. (cough, cough). I had plans to visit my mom tomorrow but she doesn't need to be around THIS! I hope we get to see Kaleigh's picture. Good luck with the snow. My you are getting a big one! We need another big one like last year to help out with the drought.

Jeanne, my neighbor was deployed a week ago also. His parents certainly aren't doing very well. I promised to send him cards etc. He never liked me growing up but hey, we all grow up. Right? He was a funny guy. I think he has done some serious growing up since he left home a couple of years ago. Hopefully, you will make those ressies. Can't wait to go. Do you ever stay home? Always going somewhere. Now it is back to CA. Sorry about your Aunt.

Just to let you know. Heidi won't be posting much anymore. The govt took away their internet access yesterday. Why and for how long??????

HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY TO CLARE ARMSTRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AND..........

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY TO ALL!!!!!!!!!!!

Jeanne, sorry to hear about Bob's son. Give them both prayers and hugs from the disney family!

Sandy, do you know why they took the access away? Maybe they "knew" she was posting to us at work, but that seems a bit too extreme! Oh well, tell her to post after work or on the weekends! We love hearing from her.

Barb, glad to hear that Tiffany is ok and things are getting back to normal for all of you. Wish we could see your performance! HOw's the tanning going with Bob?

Susan, hope that you are feeling better!

Well, nothing else going on here. We only got (at the most) 6 inches of snow here. It was looking like Dec here for awhile. Well, gonna go. Will check back in later!

Leave it to our organizer Julie...

clare says a big thank-you (she is into everyone knowing her b-day this year);) ;)

Wow, snowy in the middle and east, huh? Not to make you jealous, but it is supposed to be 70 today and near 80's this weekend.:smooth:

Going to KC this weekend for the NCAA regional games.

GO POKES (Oklahoma State that is):Pinkbounc :bounce:  ::yes::

Write more later,
Krista

It's the BIG 5 for Clare. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!!!!!!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

It didn't snow as much as they were calling for, between 5-6". Of course, I didn't want any in the first place! It was coming down pretty heavy at times. We are now in 6th place for snowy winters and we're not done yet.

We did get up to Sears to have Kaleigh's pictures taken. They came out really cute. We get them back April 6th.

I have my corned beef and potatoes in the crockpot and I am going to make a beer-mustard bread to go along. I don't make cabbage, because I don't like it cooked.

I am wearing green today because I don't have any orange. I am Protestant Irish.

Did the government take away everyones internet access? Maybe they are trying to cut costs for a change  or maybe too many employees were abusing the privelege.

Sandy: My cold is almost gone. It was just a little one.

Jerry made PS for Chef Mickey's for May. We may also do Crystal Palace. It looks like we are going to drive again. It would cost us over $1000 to fly when you include parking at the airport, rental car fees and taxes. :scared1:
