Oh my GOSH you're right! 6 MONTHS from TODAY! WOO HOO! I'm actually the only one in my household excited about this. DH just doesn't get excited period, and the boys don't KNOW about the trip. SO I guess I'll be celebrating myself.

On another note, I've found out yesterday at the doctors that I've inherited from my Grandmother, Early Onset Rhumatoid Arthritus :sad2: I awoke 3 mornings ago with sever pain in my ankels, knees, wrists, hands and shoulders! On medication that does seem to be helping. (Only my wrists are bugged a bit by it today). I"M TOO YOUNG FOR THIS!! :scared1:

No experience with it of course, so if anyone of you out there do, tell me what works to keep flare ups few and far between :worship:

Wow...I did not realize only 6 months....I was think more like 8.....where does the time go?...but in this case I am glad it is flying by!!!

My Mom has this. She realized later in life that it actually started in mid-30's, but she wasn't diagnosed until much later. It's too bad, because they say the earlier you are diagnosed and treated, the better your chances are of keeping it manageable. I'm sad to say my Mom's has become severe. She's on more medication that I can list here. She is 64 now.

I'm not sure what she used earlier on. I will ask her. I know she is on some sort of infusion medication now and she just was approved for some new treatment. She also has Krohn's disease, which they say is common for women who also have Rheumatoid arthritis.

Thanks for whatever info you can gather from her. I'm currently on Naproxin (sp?) 500mg tablets twice a day. Aleve also has Naproxin in it which was also recommended, but that dose is only 220 mg per tablet. As of this afternoon the wrist pain is now gone or barely noticeable, but I don't know if thats the two days of being on this med now, or if it's just it's natural course of getting better for a while.
Man oh Man, I tell you, I NEVER Felt OLD till this week! I need a SPA Visit, and a day at the beach with the kids visit, or go shoot some basketball with my 6 and 12 year olds (things that make me feel young), or better yet, the next 6 months to FLY by and get me on that SHIP Faster! A Vacation always makes me feel Young (by that I mean WELL/HAPPY/At Peacefull ect....) :)

It's a B E A utifiul day in central jersey, the sun is shining and the sky is bright blue. I have Mickey pancakes and bacon cooking on the stove. Missy had to work this morning so I am home with the little one (Sarah).

I called Disney Dining around 8 and got exactly what we wanted.

Thursday: T-Rex @ 4:00 PM
Friday: Crystal Palace @ 4:30 PM
Saturday: Chef Mickey's @ 8:30 AM

We bought the MNSSHP yesterday, we won't buy a park ticket for Friday. The plan is to hang at BLT, play mini-golf at Winter/Summerland, and then go to MK @ 4:00. A little dinner at Crystal Place, then off to Trick 'O Treating.

All in all, this morning has been a great start to the weekend. :thumbsup2

Lucky you!

I'm stuck here at the office working OT (and only earning time off instead of money no less!) on this beautiful day here in Scarborough (at least it was beautiful just before 8am this morning).

Sigh, October can't get here fast enough.

Thankfully though, we're staying club level at the Poly before the cruise so they made my ADR's for me:

Sunday Oct 24th - Kona
Monday Oct 25th - Coral Reef
Tuesday Oct 26th - T-Rex (lunch) and Jiko (Dinner)
Wednesday Oct 27th - Liberty Tree Tavern (lunch) and The Plaza (dinner)
Thursday Oct 28th - Sci Fi Diner
Friday Oct 29th - Planet Hollywood (lunch before we drive to Port Canaveral)

Not sure if we'll end up keeping all of our ADR's but I like to be prepared with a reservation in the park we plan to be at.

Spring, loving it! Although it was supposed to be 78 degrees out today, it's only reached 66 but so far the rain has stayed away. It's overcast, but occasionally the sun has tried to peak through. My tuplips out front are SO beautiful to see I decided to practice with this complicated camera, on them. My littlest man got in on the fun:

I m thinking about an ADR for
The Dessert Party

According to this http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2456293 you can book in August.. I wonder if Oct is avaiable yet?

We did the dessert party last year. It was fun and you do get a good view of the fireworks (almost everyone went up to the edge of the restaurant) but I found the dessert just "meh". There was some okay, some good and one or two that were very tasty but nothing that made me go "Wow!".

If you want to avoid the crowds, I think it's great (I really dislike the large crowd of people pushing in on me during and after fireworks and with my mom in the wheel chair it made it certain that she would get to see without someone standing directly in front of her) and as a treat or for a special occasion, it's worth it but personally, it's not an every trip kind of thing for us.

Gosh I can't believe that we are cruising in less than six months. We just got back a few weeks ago from our trip to Disney over Easter. We had the best Easter Sunday at Animal Kingdom. Thanks to the Dis, I knew that the Easter Bunny was going to be at the Good Time Gathering Spot at 10am (nowhere was it mentioned in the Times Guide) so we got their a bit early and my kids ended up with a private meet/greet with Thumper, Chip n Dale, Meeko, Turk and Mr Easter Bunny himself. Then they started the dance party and my kids still had the characters all to themselves till other families in the area heard the music and wandered over to see what was going on and join in. As we were leaving the dance party, my MIL was thanking the CM who brought us in early and got to talking about the recent flooding in RI (she was in an area hit pretty hard) and the CM asked us to be in the afternoon parade riding on Mickey's Float. What a magical experience!!!! I was very worried about traveling to Disney during such a busy week but we had the best vacation!!!

Anyway, now we are back and I can start obsessing about the cruise!!!! We booked our flight down the other day and changed our hotel reservation so we are staying at Bay Lake Towers on the 29th. We are planning on going to MNSSHP Friday night.... The last time we went, my son was 17 months and my daughter was just shy of 3 years so they don't remember it all and we left after the fireworks. I can't wait for them to experience it now that they are a bit older.

Do you go to the Tulip Festival? My friend from Ontario shows me beautiful pictures every year!

Thats kind of a funny thing I find. Tourist Attractions, more tourists attend than locals. I haven't been to the Tulip Festival since my family moved here when I was 14!
But now that you've mentioned it, it would make for some nice picture taking, and perhaps, I'm certain my youngest child and my daycare children would love it! I guess we are soon going on a field trip :)

OMG!! How amazing! pixiedust: I don't think your kids will ever forget being on Mickey's float in the parade! Please share some photos!

LOL, she's not a tourist, definitely a local, but an avid scrapbooker and superb photographer. She goes every year and gets amazing photos!

I could not get T-Rex on Thursday, 10/28! The only time theyhad open was 3:00 and that's too early for us. I booked Rainforest for the same day at 6:00 p.m. I plan to keep looking over the next few weeks and see if it opens up again. And I was up at 6:00 a.m. yesterday to book these!

I did get Chef Mickey's for dinner on Friday and Boma on Saturday morning for the times I wanted! :cool1:

Wow, really? I've always found T-Rex an easy one to get. We have been there several times. I would definitely check back, I think you'll manage to snag it! :thumbsup2

Just made an ADR for Chef Mickey's for the Thursday night!!!!! I had debated it long and hard, and after looking at photos from our Brunch there last Fall, I just spent the last 20 minutes convincing DH to have Dinner there this year! So dinner reservations are made now for 6:45pm!

Truly, we both really wanted Le Cellier, but you need a park ticket to go there, and although we have one day park tickets, thats NOT the park we are going to with those tickets. The cost of upgrading them to park hoppers is just not worth it.

On another note, I had lent a local family here our Pirate Costumes for their 3 Day Wonder Cruise. They just got back last week and she dropped by tonight to give us our Costumes back. Included in the bag as a thank you gift was a BIG box of Mickey Head Shaped Chocolate Covered Pretzels!!! YUMMMMMM! The Box looks SO fabulous, I don't want to open it just yet. LOL, Does anyone else do that?
