Knewton64 (Kris), your new plans look like a lot of fun! We'll be spending only one day in WDW this fall, but hopefully in the years to come, we can get back there to stay a week or longer (never been there for more than 4 days).

Ok now that I have your attention, I came across a FABULOUS deal I Could not pass up on. It seems to have gone through (the whole purchase on line thing), But I need to know, hopefully, the GIRLS in the FE, Will they like something to do with Pirates of the Caribbean? I'm sure the boys will, but will the Your girls? And ok, I'm going to spill the beans here as I have to make a decision. Pirates of the Caribbean Pillow Cases!! I bought these for my sons for our last cruise, and the Autographing was amazing. These are regularly 9.99 but I found them on sale for .99 Cents! See the deal? SO Would the 13 - 17 year old kids like these too? the dust has finally settled on my rather un-Disney like vacation to Disney Land last month & I have FINALLY gotten things settled between myself & Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Adventures by Disney.

my TA e-mailed me my WDW ressie for Oct 28th 2010 for 7 nghts at POFQ (love those beignets!)


So....here is what I have so far.....I call this my Disney "Do Over Vacation":

1) Oct 28th: La Nuba.
2) Oct 29th: MNSSHP (tic bought yesterday & never been to it!!).
3) oct 30th: Epcot (food & wine).
4) oct 31st: MK's "Keys to the Kingdom" tour.
5) Nov 1st: MK's "Magic behind our steam trains" tour.
6) Nov 2nd: am char brkfst at AK; then onto HS.
7) Nov 3rd: Dinner ressies at Narcooses (to see the fireworks)
8) Nov 4th: ??



Anywho - gotta love this one.....I just put in for a ressie for DCL......

..same cabin # & everthing.


Hopefully 3rd times a charm for me and Key West as I have never been to it....that and my car will be paid off (2006 Toyota Corolla CE) in July 2011 so it's party time for me!


All right - enuf 4 now. Again - didn't want to just head off w/o saying a proper goodbye & hey...ya never know - ya just may see me next year on the Magic!


P.S. Besides after WDW in Oct, I then have a friendly date (someone I met on last months Disney vacation) over a game of darts and a few pints of Guiness....over in Dublin - next May. Tempted to do a tr.

Both my DD and my DS would be very happy with it! Allison has seen the movies (plus is an arts and crafts junkie) and Michael loves anything pirate related. I think I know just the thing you are talking about (They have something similiar, not Pirates, in the craft store here) and .99 cents is a steal! I say go for it!

I saw your earlier post about Le Cellier....that's our favorite too, but also, we only have one day non-park hopper tickets. The cost to make it a park hopper is too much, so we are going to have to skip Epcot this year in favor of MK. This, in truth, is killing me, because Epcot is my favorite and I can't believe I am going to be that close to the Food and Wine Festival and not attend it! However, the kids win here and MK is their choice. I am bowing to the minor majority.

Hi Kim, Daniel is doing much better with the braces. It's a chore to get him to floss though! Comes with the territory I suppose.
My youngest now has his two bottom teeth half way in and one of them is slightly behind the one beside it, and tilted backwards! GREAT, another need for braces when he's older? LOL

We just asked to be added to the FE list, but I thought I would give our preference, too. Both my daughter and son would LOVE the pirate pillowcase. Pirate night is their favorite part of the cruise and we all love Captain Jack!!! I am glad that you found such a great deal.

Your FE idea sounds great!! My 2 boys would really like the pillowcases, but I don't think my 2 daughters (ages 6 and 12) would really like it too much. They are not really into the Pirates of the Carribean. Sounds like a great FE gift!!!! I still have to do my FE shopping....I better get going....

Ok - and about Epcot - I KNOW! I am soooooooooooo lookin' forward to the Food and wine fesitval. before I head out to it, I just gotta get in my fill of Soarin' - that attraction rocks!.


Going behind Soarin' and watching how it works (during my vacation last mnth) was really a sight to behold. Got that music on my I-pod now.


Now if only that Tower of Terror music will just STOP freakin me out.

I can't believe you know what time you are waking up on that day!! I leave for Colorado on Friday and I haven't even scheduled that day out yet! hahaha!

The last time I was at F&WF was in 2008 - I don't think anything I tried was bad!! Just go for it!!

Judy, I asked my mom about the arthritis meds. She says she was on Naproxen when she was first diagnosed. She was also on Ridaura (gold filled pills!) for awhile, but had to stop due to complications with her anemia. She then went on Enbrel, by injections. She is now on more heavy duty stuff.

She says they all worked well for a time, but then it seemed her body built up an immunity to it or something and they would eventually stop being effective, so she would move on to the next Dr. suggested med. She does say that she feels her best when she has her feet buried in warm beach sand and the sun is shining down on her. So, perhaps Castaway Cay is going to be just what the Dr. ordered for you!

DS is asking me on a daily basis when we are going on vacation. I believe I will be making that new countdown calender this weekend. I'm also going to start working on my FE's. If I do a few each weekend, I should have them all done in plenty of time.

Since I do not sew particularly well at all, I was considering ordering our Fish Extender from gradysmommy on Ebay. I think a few have you have ordered from her and have been happy with the results, so I was going to give it a try. My SIL does sew, and very well, but I feel badly pressing her into service to make something for a vacation she is not going on!

I ordered my FE from gradysmommy - but it hasn't arrived yet - I know it doesn't matter what it really looks like but since I don't sew I thought it would cost me more in materials and time to get anything that I wouldn't mind hanging outside our stateroom - so - I decided to just buy it.
