Have you checked SW? I don't know if they run out of JFKI checked them this morning and they had cheap rates again. Too bad we have to drive now.

i see how u cant stay away from this site its addicting i have been reading and now excited i finally created a name so i can talk back now;)

I think we will give Chef Mickey's a try. I looked over the menu at both Ohana and Chef Mickey's and I think Chef Mickey's food would appeal to my kids more. At what time do they do Hallowishes? I was wondering if we would be able to see the Fireworks from the Contemporary.....

Last year Hallowishes was at 9:30pm I believe. You can watch from the contemporary as they have an observation area on the 4th floor. I don't think they pipe the music in there though (I could be wrong about that though).

MNSSHP ticket prices :scared1:

I love Halloween and I love Disney but I'm just not willing to spend that kind of money on one night.

I just can't pay $60-$65 PLUS TAX to attend the party. I think this year's increase just put it over the edge for me as "not enough value for my vacation dollar".

Dreams83, does that mean you are on this Cruise with us? If so, then :cheer2:WELCOME!:cheer2:

. . . and if not? hahaha :rotfl2:

yes i am on this cruise as well. I always read what everyone writes but never created a profile. My husband (fastpaks) is always on here and usually he shows me threads but the closer the trip is getting the more excited i get so thought i should maybe get on here too.

this is our first cruise and i loove looove halloween so i think we are going to try it out with it being our sons first disney trip. but what exactly is it? just trickortreating and themed parades? would that not going on during the day?

Wow, yeah that is really high! And here I thought it would be a couple of dollars more per ticket. I guess the "non-premium" dates are only a dollar more. I agree, it is hard to spend $250+ for about 7 hours (if that) when we usually spend just a little more than that for 3 day tickets. Sigh.

Glad to see you join in the conversation! :thumbsup2

If I even had a passing thought about going to MNSSHP, that thought died as soon as I saw the prices for 10/29. Yikes! No way am I will to pay almost $300.00 for my family to go. I would definitely rather have this money to spend on our cruise.

starting to think that way maybe a trip to seaworld or maybe a swim with dolphins i would have to check in that price though.

Yes, those prices just wiped it out of my consideration of what to do. We are leaving we figure now, Monday night at 11pm (this is DH's idea NOT mine LOL). We'll arrive in NJ, around 7 or 8 am at the latest, but probably earlier as driving at night means no traffic.
Drop mom off at my Aunts, say a quick Hello then Good By. I'm supposed to sleep during this first leg of the drive, as DH wants me to drive from 9am till whenever we stop for the night, probably around dinner time Tuesday. That means we'll arrive in Orlando early afternoon on Wednesday. Hopefully the weather there is GREAT, we'll spend the day by the pool relaxing. Thursday is Park day, but definately no MNSSHP now! Do you think MK will be BUSY, overly crowded during the day on Thursday? Ultimately our boys will decide which park we'll visit, but I'm certain they will choose MK (kind of counting on it now, lol)
I've been throwing around ideas of what to do for that evening. Considering Chef Mickey's for Dinner then calling it an evening. Friday we plan to hit the beach in Cocoa Beach till we can check into Country Inn and Suites. Then dinner with a small group of you?
Can't wait, How many days now? I've lost count since we don't have a countdown Calendar this time around. :)

I would think crowd levels will be up. EMH that morning. I will be busier but its still fall at least.

When do these tickets go on sale?

May 1st, I think. Which also happens to be the first day I can make ADR's for our WDW stay. I'm pretty sure we want Chef Mickey's for dinner and Boma for breakfast.

It's been over a year since I've done this. Do on-line dining reservations still start at 7:00 a.m. 180 days before the first day of your resort stay?

Do you know if I am still able to make Dining Reservations at a place like Chef Mickey's (at a resort), If I don't have Disney Resort Reservations?

It's 6am Eastern for online ADR's.

Yes you can. The main difference is you can only make your ADR at 180 days from the day you want to dine (not 180 days from your non disney resort stay).

Cape May Cafe: We are staying at BCV so we may run into you in the morning. We enjoyed Le Cellier. Nice choices.

We haven't purchased park passes yet; you don't need to buy one for the 29th if you buy the MNSSHP ticket. You can enter the Magic Kingdom at 4:00 PM with your MNSSHP ticket and stay until 12:00 AM

When we do buy our tickets we will buy one less since we will do something else in the morning/early afternoon and then go to MK @ 4.

All in all, the MNSSHP ticket is less than a one day pass so the price is high, but still not too bad considering the event.

6 months from today . . .
