i bought my Halloween costume for the cruise!! I know we're going as hippies, and I saw the best tie-dye dress at BJ's, so I figured it's NEVER too soon to shop for a Disney Cruise!!!

I think it's an easy costume to pack, and also to wear on rides- I'm guessing we'll do what we did last year and go to MNSSHP before the cruise...although, this time i think I want to fly down on Thursday night after they're out of school.....

last year more were dressed then not dressed - it was a lot of fun - some people went very elaborate!! my favorite was a large man riding an ostrich!

We're back! Had a great time, but it was sooooo hot! Left 95 degree weather yesterday and came home to 50 degree weather, a 40 degree difference

We did the Grand One Saturday night - what a treat. My only knock on it is for the money you are spending, the least they could do is provide snacks. When we did the Illumination cruise last year, we got snacks and cold drinks. My daughter also did the American Idol Experience and had a blast. And yesterday, we got picked to be the First Family at American Adventure. So you may now all call me Mr. President

Just got through reading all the posts on this thread. WOW! We have a good group. I will hopefully be booking today, when my TA gets back home, because my husband called from work a couple of hours ago and gave me the go ahead.

I'm here! I was pretty busy last week. I had planned on Dis'ing on Friday, but dh ended up taking me to see Angels and Demons on Friday for my birthday. What a great guy!

The weather here is beautiful! The only bummer is that I think my garage door opener is broke. I'm hoping dh will fix it when he gets home tonight.

How is everyone else doing?

Hi, glad you made it to the roll call. Fish extenders are hung outside your stateroom door on the fish and magically at different times during the cruise cool little gifts are left.

You can buy pre-made ones on ebay just type in fish extender or if you are crafty you can make your own.

Go to search here on this board and select advanced search. Enter fish extender and select search titles only. You will find lots of advice.

It has been a mess at our house. Not only are we planning for our July trip but we just found out that Janet's mother's cancer has returned and we expect to loss her to it in the next few weeks. At the most we only have few months. So it has been crazy. I expect to have more time after out trip. Lois

So sorry to hear that. Cancer is such a horrible thing! I lost my Dad to lung cancer a few years ago. He smoked for 50 years. Now I have an Uncle who just found out he has cancer. Another 50+ years smoker. At this point, they don't even know where the cancer started from. They're still doing tests.

I hope that Janet's mom passes peacefully. You are in my thoughts.

My DH & I (we don't have any children, but who said Halloween or Disney for that matter was just for kids or people that have em) will be joining ya'll on this cruise, along with my older DSis, her DH, DD2, DS5, DS14 (at time of the cruise they will be 3,6, &15) Anywho just wanted to intro myself and say hello!! We're getting ready for our second Disney Cruise in just 23 days!!! Soooo excited! It will be our second Western making the Halloween one our 3rd, it's gonna be awesome!!!!!Nice to meet you all!!!

Hi Everyone -

We just booked this cruise yesterday and are very excited to be joining you all. Let me introduce us and give our ages at the time of sailing: Myself, Lisa (39) my husband, Chris (36), my daughter, Alyssa (6yrs - just a few weeks shy of her 7th birthday) and my son, Bobby (5). My husband and I will be celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary on Nov 2nd. We are originally from RI but are now living in CT. We will have Main Dining and our cabin will be 2101.

This will be our 3rd Disney Cruise and I am so excited to be traveling over Halloween.... I look forward to getting to know all of you while we wait for our sailing.

Welcome to the new families!

The weather here has been perfect! Not too hot or humid and nice sunny sky. Today, I don't even see a single cloud. I love Kansas in the spring (except for my allergies.)

DH and I are taking the kids to see Night at the Museum on Saturday. All of the local pools open this weekend too, so I'm sure we will do some swimming. Then Wednesday is the last day of school! Well, not really for my boys. They both have extended school year, so they will have a few weeks of summer school. At least they throw in some fun activities for them though.

So, what is everyone else doing this weekend?
