Another gloomy day.

Julie: I may not make another standing rib roast after this one after what it cost! Hope Garry didn't hurt himself going after the guy.

Barb: The helicopter ride sounds awesome! I am so looking foward to a break from school and everything else!

Jerry is working from home tomorrow, so hopefully we will get to open the secret santa. We have been so busy in the evenings.

Jazzy is still sick. He just isn't getting better as fast as we thought. I called the vet yesterday but she was so busy she didn't get a chance to call me back. I will see how he is tomorrow. He just doesn't feel good. The antibiotic will still be in his system for another week. At least he is eating and drinking.

Hi all!

Well, Garry got home at 4:30am and was back at work by 11am. They got 2 of the 3 guys last night and the last one today. I guess 3 black men followed a store owner (his store is on the East side of Cleveland and he lives in Parma Heights), and took him by gun point into the house where the rest of his family was. The guys got away with $16,000 and some other stuff from the house. They retrieved the other stuff but of course they didn 't get the money. But everyone is safe, just a very LONG night but with a happy ending so to speak. Tis the season!

Denine, I saw the price of those roasts..... how's that money tree in your backyard looking?

Ha, I am laughing at myself as I just saw I posted hopping instead of hoping! Well it turns out the girls went home today instead of tomorrow because we are supposed to get a pretty big snow storm starting today through Christmas Eve, between 5 -8 inches of snow. Of course the ex suggested this and then called back and asked if he could drop them off even earlier since her sister was flying into Colorado in an hour. At least we get them again next week.

Denine - Sorry Jazzy isn't doing any better.

Julie - Glad they caught the bad guys and no one got hurt.

Julie, you are so correct. Tis the season. We are having so many bank robberies. I think last weeks total was 14. Can you believe that? I can't imagine being inside my home with a guy and a gun. How scary! At least they are safe.

Denine, rib roasts are horribly priced. I never ever bought them when the girls were little but the last couple of years I have. I just bought two today. We have ours New Years Day. I paid 4.88 a pound on sale what do you guys pay?

My final gift is bought. Stacey was my hard one this year.

One day closer to Christmas. I was hoping today would be a snow day, but wasn't that lucky. I still have to wrap Chris's present....must do it tonight!

Good Snowy Morning!!
Made it in to work....late but I am here. Bob actually brought me because my car would not make it out of our neighborhood.

Sandy- I posted pictures of the house about 1:00 in the morning on FB and pictures of our Disney trip and a couple of pictures of Bob and I. The house pictures dont to it justice but you can at least get a good idea.

JAYMEE IS COMING HOME FOR CHRISTMAS!!!! I am SUPER excited. Louis is gone with his job. Jaymee was going to be alone for Christmas, New Years and her birthday. She thought she was going to be ok but she was so sad yesterday after Louis left she decided to come home. Nebraska is suppose to get 18" of snow today and tomorrow so I am praying everything goes ok with her flight to and from Colorado.

Barb: Glad Jaymee will be with family for Christmas! Did you hear about the decorating contest yet?

We opened the Secret Santa. Thanks Barb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We got a really cute Christmas Mickey cookie jar. It is perfect on my bakers rack!

Julie: Glad everything worked out OK with robbery.

Sandy: I got my roast at the fancy grocery store in town, Heinen's. I paid 8.99 a pound, but I like their meat better the Giant Eagle. That was on sale!

I have to go pick up Jazzy's lasix at the vet today, so I am hoping his vet is there to talk to. His lungs are clear at least, but his poor little nose. Now, he is having problems with his eye, so I am putting drops in it.

We are closing in the on the 1/2 way point of 2nd grade! I want to finish it half before we leave on Tuesday.

I heard about the snowstorm some are supposed to get for Christmas. We are supposed to have rain. At least you can drive in it.

Barb, I will head over to FB to look at your pictures. I was reading your post and I have Ch 9 weather on and they were saying how bad the roads are out there, I get to the part where Jaymee is coming out and held my breath. Glad it ended up that she is flying. Phew!

Denine, yikes 8.99! I would swear off Prime rib myself at that price.

Shoveled off the sidewalks and driveway and it is still snowing but everything is wet. Glad I don't have to keep shoveling all day long. We are to get an addl 3-5". Ran to Target for a few items and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't very busy. Guess the snow is keeping people at home.

Balloon boys parents just got sentenced today. Dad was supposedly holding back tears. I was wondering how much was acting!

Sorry Heidi, I forgot to answer you. How about you come over here in the morning just like usual. I have the egg casserole ready to make and also the strawberries. Do you want to take one or two cars down tomorrow? We will have Stacey's present to Richard that will take up the middle from front to back but we still have all sides.

I can't believe how Kara acted around the characters. How cute. The one with her messy mouth and Jaymee was cute.

Ethan has grown a ton since we last saw him!

Sorry it took me forever to post back to everyone! I am VERY excited about my internship. It will be a nice break from school. My dad was saying earlier how strange it is because we have been going there for vacation ever since I turned 5 and now I will actually be working there! I'm not sure what my job is yet all I know is that I will be working the quick food and service area. I'm really hoping to be stuck at the noodle station in tomorrowland that is never open...JUST KIDDING!lol. I will make sure I keep all of you updated while I'm down there!

I got my secret santa gift and it was from the Lauters. I got a Tink ornament for my tree and a stuffed Mickey christmas caroler that stands. He is so cute. Thanks Lauters.

Mom - Chris and I will drive seperately because of Chris's allergies to the cat. That way if he needs to leave early he can.
