Thank you Susan for the new thread and thank you Sandy for forwarding it to me. The thread must go on...

Hope you all had a very blessed Easter and that the Easter bunny brought you lots of treats.

Love and miss you all:grouphug::rainbow: Have a great night and better tomorrow. JEANNE:genie: alias Disney Dudette Two :earsgirl::earsgirl:

Jeanne, good grief, it is late out there. It is 9:30 here making it 11:30 there. How come you aren't sleeping? Sorry I couldn't talk long today. I would have rather talked to you but I guess it wouldn't be fair to the family. LOL Miss you tons.

I am here.

We have been very busy.

Thursday we went down to Amish for the day. It is always fun and good to get away.
Friday I worked then it was off to Jeryr's mom's to color Easter eggs.
Saturday I did have the day to myself while Jerry and Kaleigh went to his mom's, but I was busy cleaning and doing other stuff.
Yesterday was Easter. Kaleigh had her egg hunt in the morning and then it was church. Right after church it was off to Jerry's mom's for the rest of the day.
This morning was an animal program at the park. It was about animal homes. It was good, but so many of the kids there were only there for their mom's to get them out of the house during spring break where this was part of school for Kaleigh. We have 2 more park programs this week.

Julie: Got you phone message yesterday and we still aren't going to WDW in June. Sorry.

Sandy: How is Tyler?

I hope everyone had a great Easter.

Hi Jeanne, Susan, Heidi and Sally.

Barb: Are you back yet?

Denine, you HAVE been busy. Easter is over and maybe things will slow down for you. Tyler is ok. The epilepsy walk is this Sunday. Sure hope the weather holds out.

Mom - I am starting to freak out about the weather. The beginning of the week looks nice, but it looks like more rain and snow by the end of this week. We may be walking in 30 degree weather, yay!

Sandy: Easter is always a 3 day event here. I can't handle being at Jerry's mom's for 3 days in a row though, so I take Saturday off.

Happy Birthday Jeanne!

Don't worry about Sunday's weather now. It always changes.

Happy Birthday Jeanne!!!

Glad to see everyone back and posting. I have been active with getting ready for Easter and things like that. This week is spring break for the kids. Last weekend all three kids went to Bowling Green for the ENTIRE weekend! It was Sibs and Kids weekend at the college and Anna Marie wanted all of them up there with her. They all had a BLAST!!! I thought it would have been too much for Anna Marie with all of them, especially in her dorm room, but she said it was just fine. They had so many activities fot them to do. They had a carnival for them on Saturday that had inflatables and face painting and everything. I thought for sure that Anna Marie would be calling Sat. to say that Brooke or Garry wanted to come home but she said they we all having so much fun that no one wanted to leave!!! So, here is my 5yr, 8yr, and as G Dog would say my 9 3/4 yr up at college with no parents having a blast!!! Makenzie has already told all of us that she is going to go to BG for college.

We went up to BG again this Friday to get Anna Marie for the weekend because she wanted to come home for Easter. We had to take he back last night because they had classes today. She only has 15 more days of classes and 5 days set aside for finals and she is ALREADY DONE with her first year of college!! She will be done no later then May 8th!! I'm gonna go up the last week of April to get her frig and her other room "stuff" that she doesn't need and bring it home for the summer. I might have to make 2 trips to get the futon and the other stuff, but we can do it. All that will be left to take home is her clothes. So she doesn't have to worry about packing up her room during finals.

We have Garry's niece's wedding May 2nd up in Michigan. We REALLY REALLY don't want to go, but for Garry's parents, we will go. We won't know anyone, but we will go. The kids were not invited so my mom is going to watch them over night. That is if she doesn't have her knee surgery that is! She torn something in her knee and is in a lot of pain. She has an appointment with a orthopedic surgeon tomorrow.

Well, that's about it for now from us. We have soccer practice Tues, and Thurs this week and Football Wed. Then we have a soccer game Sat and football game Sun. Makenzie has a girl scout sleepover on Sat. night. SO, our week is getting filled up pretty quickly, but what else is new.

Hi Sally and Bonnie!!!

Heidi and Sandy, I will keep my fingers crossed for nice weather for Sunday for you guys!

Be Back Later!

TTFN

Julie, that college event was so cool for the younger siblings. I have never heard of it. I am glad that they did so well. School lets out early for Anna Marie. I think you have a very brainy idea about moving most of her things BEFORE finals! She doesn't need to be worrying about anything but finals. Then the wedding.....it is very nice of you to go despite not knowing anyone. It is always hard but thoughtful for Garry's parents. Now we have to send pixie dust to you and your mom that she doesn't need surgery!

YAY!! Here we are again going on and on and on!!!:cool1:

Got back from Florida last night. We had soooo much fun. Melanie got the wedding she wanted. Small, simple and on the beach. She looked amazing in her wedding gown. Melanie weighs just over 100 pounds so everything looks great on her. She is a beautiful girl and was such a stunning bride.

Bob and I had sooo much fun. Hung out on the beach, went to a mall, met all of Derricks family. They had the wedding on a private beach. A friend of Derricks cleans the woman that owns the house. Very nice woman. The house was SOOO COOL! It reminded me of the beach club the way it was decorated. It had a deck that lead to a gazebo then lead to stairs that took you down to the beach. They had the reception at a nice restaurant that had a tiki bar on the outside so after dinner we went there. I could not believe my VERY conservative husband was out on the dance floor doing that cha cha cha dance! :rotfl:
The father daughter dance made me cry. We used a song called "I Loved Her First" Oh my gosh I love the words to that song.

I know I will laugh about this some day but not today! I had been teasing Pat (Bob's ex and one of my best friends) that her ticket out of Denver cost more then mine out of the Springs and her flight was at 8:00 in the morning out of Tampa which means she had to leave at 5:30 AM to get to the airport in time. !!:laughing::laughing: Our flight was at 10:30 am so we didn't have to leave until 8:00. I booked mine and Bob's flight first then later booked Amanda's (another daughter) so she would be on the same flights as us.
Amanda couldn't come until Friday and we left on Wednesday.
Everything was peachy keen in my world until Thursday night when we discovered that I book Amanda in and out of Orlando! Tampa is 1.5 hours from where we were and Orlando another hour from Tampa! Grrrrrrrrrr! Flight times were the same so I never thought anything of it.

Friday was not a big deal when she came in but Sunday when we left at the same time was another story. In order to get her to Orlando for her flight then back to Tampa for ours we had to leave at 5:00. Pat never will let me live that one down. I thought she would never stop laughing when we discovered it. Then come to find out that our layover was in Dallas where of course Amanda was on our second flight!

Dang giving her crap about having to leave so early:laughing:

I unpacked and started repacking for our next trip in 17 DAYS!!! YIPEEE!!!!

When we were driving through Orlando on our way to the airport I kept seeing signs for Disney. Talk about salt in my wound! and then to have to come home to snow. BLAH!

Well are down to only 2 daughters that will have weddings. YAY! and neither one has a boyfriends!!!! YAY!! YAY!!! YAY!!!:cool1::cool1::cool1:
WOW I just realized that half of our kids are married now. :scared1:
