I have been fighting an migraine since yesterday afternoon. I was hoping I wouldn't wake up with one today but unfortunately it is still here. I had to decide to try and get rid of it and deal with an upset stomach and the shakes or deal with the migraine. I chose upset stomach and shakes. I should have stayed home, but today is our Christmas party at work and right now there is a lot of politics involved so it would have looked really bad if I didn't go. Oh well, I am sucking it up.

Hey all!

The movie last night was really good. I won't say anything more until the rest of you have seen it.

I am thinking I may have to take Jazz to the vet today. He has had a slight cold, but this morning it is worse. He has a bloddy nasal discharge and he just looks a mess. He may need antibiotics.

Hoping to get the cutouts made tonight.

Heidi: Hope you feel better.

Jerry has his Christmas lunch today too.

Kaleigh has a patch of excema on her cheek and on the back of her knee. Poor kid. I am hoping I can get it to go away.

Susan: How are you today?

Taking Jazz to the vet this afternoon.

I can't get on FB. It keeps coming up with a blank page and "done"

Isn't it sad about Roy? I will never forget our encounter on the ships elevator with him and his wife. It was just us and way too funny.

Poor, poor Jazzy!

Well, I broke the news to Heidi today. A very good friend of ours cancer has advanced and she is now not eating. From experience, I know what's next. We were holding off to tell the girls till after Christmas but with the latest we felt it best to let her know now.

Hi everyone. I am doing good. The Hospice visit went well and I spent the rest of the day with Dad yesterday. Today after work I have tried to get a little shopping done. Nothing like just starting my Christmas shopping:confused3. I had to stop and come home since my feet were killing me. Two extra hours in heels shopping after work was just too much for the ole dogs!!

I just wanted you all to know I am doing ok and I am so thankful for all the love you have sent my way as the horrible disease has progressed. I am so comforted by knowing you all care. THANKS is not enough!

Love you all!
:grouphug:

Susan - At least you wear heels!!!! I can't even wear heels for an hour. I am such a dork and cannot wear heals because I constantly twist my ankles.

Mom - I told Chris about Bonnie, and he really wants to go to the funeral too when it comes around. Last night I broke down and cried because I kept thinking about how many wedding pictures she took of ours, that was so funny. So many good memories with her.

Susan: I am glad you checked in. We are all here for you!

Sandy: Sorry to hear about your good friend.

Jazzy is feeling a bit better today. The vet heard crackles in his lungs, so it did indeed progress to a secondary bacterial infection. He was also dehydrated. She gave him fluids under his skin and an antibiotic injection that lasts 2 weeks since I already give him so much medication. He should be on the road to recovery by tomorrow. The fluids helped. They already called at 8:30 this morning to see how he was doing.

We got our Christmas cookies done last night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Hopefully taking Kaleigh to a homeschool program at the park about holidays around the world. We missed the last one last month.

Kaleigh now has a spot of excema on her cheek and nose. The humidifier got moved into her room last night from the classroom.

It was funny yesterday, Jerry was at the salad bar at his Christmas lunch yesterday and ran into his mom who was having lunch with friends!

I am not working tomorrow.

I forgot to mention we got our Secret Santa yesterday! :cool1::cool1: Does everyone have their's? When are we opening?

Good morning. Anyone want to come over and clean for me? :sad2: Thought so.

Susan, thanks for checking in. Christmas shopping in heels?:scared1:What in the world were you thinking???:rotfl2: No need to thank us, we love you and that's what friends are for!

Denine, doesn't it feel good to have those cookies out of the way. One thing you can check off your list! That's funny that Jerry bumped into his mom. Small world sometimes! So far I know that Julie, Susan and you have your gifts. I don't think Heidi has hers and I don't. No date has been set. I guess we should vote whether to open them as we get them or wait. I say, go ahead and open. What do you others think?

Heidi, I have lost sleep over Bonnie. I thought it was kind of funny when I told you and you didn't show emotion. I guess you needed time like I did to let it absorb.

I'm making a Black Forest Bundt cake today for Ted's office party tonight. I am doing such an awesome :woohoo: job losing my weight over the holidays and pray this doesn't mess it up. I got to my goal today that I wanted to hit before our trip. Now that means I will have more off by the time we leave.

Nothing is getting done by sitting here on the computer. Bye for now.

Ted received this from his IT at work.

WE HAVE RECEIVED NOTICE OF A VERY DANGEROUS VIRUS ASSOCIATED WITH FACEBOOK ACCOUNTS. IF YOU USE OR EVEN VIEW FACEBOOK PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING WARNING AND BE EXTREMELY CAREFULWHEN UTILIZING ANY SOCIAL NETWORKING PROGRAM.

Be wary:

Facebook Users Warned of Social-Networking Virus

Internet users are being warned to watch out for a computer virus targeting popular social networking sites in the run up to Christmas.

Sky News has been told that Facebook users are most at risk from a variant of the Koobface virus, which has been disguised as a festive greetings video hosted on a YouTube site. Security experts say the new virus is "particularly nasty" and compels its victims to participate manually in creating a new Facebook account to help spread the worm.

In previous years, variations of this virus have caused chaos across the Web <http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,462784,00.html?sPage=fnc/scitech/cybers

ecurity> .

But Internet security experts believe the new worm is likely to prove particularly effective in fooling users, because of the growing number of people who now opt to send out electronic greetings cards.

The attacks work by posting malicious links on Facebook wall pages, inviting users to click on the Christmas card videos. However, any attempt to play the video turns over control of the PC to the attackers.

The victim then sees a warning message, requiring them to solve a Captcha (Completely Automated Public Turing Test To Tell Computers And Humans Apart) puzzle within three minutes. A timer ticks down and if the puzzle goes unsolved after the allotted time, the PC freezes up.

Experts warn that rebooting the computer will not help and the only way to end the loop is to solve the Captcha puzzle. The victim would then be able to use their PC as normal, but the attacker would still have control.

While those targeted grapple with the unfolding problem, the worm separately uses the victim's computer to fill out a new account application, unseen by them. The new account is then used to post more Christmas video worms in a continuing cycle.

Internet security company Panda Security <http://www.pandasecurity.com/> has been tracking the latest variant of the Koobface worm from its labs in Spain.

"There is no doubting that this latest Koobface attack represents a serious threat to social networkers," the company's UK managing director Peter Lautin told Sky News.

"If someone runs the infected file on their Facebook or MySpace page, the worm will automatically log in to their account and several other social networking sites, sending malicious messages to all their friends.

"The more people who use an application such as Facebook, or any other means of social networking, the more likely they are to be targeted by bad guys to send out malicious threats such as Koobface."

The company recommends that users do not reply to or follow links included in unsolicited Facebook messages and users should always carefully check that the URL they are entering is really that of the site they want to access.

Heidi, I have lost sleep over Bonnie. I thought it was kind of funny when I told you and you didn't show emotion. I guess you needed time like I did to let it absorb.
I think it was because I was at work and being "professional." As soon as I got off of work and into my car I lost it and cried all the way home. Then got inside and Chris asked what was wrong and started all over again.

Great job on the weightloss. That is awesome!!! Good job, I am so happy for you! I started working out again before work but since I stayed up too late last night doing pictures, when my alarm went off at 4:30 this morning there was just no way!

Sandy: Congrats on the weight loss! I never look at anything on youtube or videos, so I am hoping I will stay virus free on FB.

We went to the HS program about holidays around the world at the park. It was nice, but I am spoiled by Epcot! They got to make a craft after the presentation and then had some Christmas snacks from around the world.

I really don't have much left todo for Christmas. I am hoping to relax a little more, but I know we need to take Jerry's mom to the cemetery this weekend. She hasn't been for a few years. It is on the east side, so she won't drive herself.
I really want to get Kaleigh's room clean before Christmas. Once a year, the 3 of us go in and tackle it. The rest of the year, it is Kaleigh's job to keep it neat.

TGIF!

Jerry made french toast for breakfast, yummy!

We are in school now.

Nothing else going on.

Busy day. Having 14 people (our family and my brother and family) over for a Christmas celebration. We are having a Tyler friendly meal. Off to cut up fresh fruit.

So much for ever gettng my Christmas shopping done. This evening I was going to go (without heels) but wouldn't you know mother nature has decided to send some icky weather our way. Remember, here in the south everything comes to a stop as soon as the sleet and/or snow starts. Hopefully this will all be out of here midday tomorrow and I can go brave the shopping crowds.

Hi Anna Marie!!!! Are you excited to be starting with Disney soon? You know we expect you to come back and post all about it. We are so excited for you!

Susan - Did the weather get better?

Denine - What a nice breakfast Jerry made for you!

Tomorrow we are going to attempt to go ice skating. Wondering how many bruises I am going to come home with!

Anna Marie must be done with school!

We got a lot done today. We spent 3 hours cleaning Kaleigh's room, we got the Mickey wreaths hung outside, we got the tree up in the basement and we both did our Wii. I lost 1 pound this week.

Time to go put the little one to bed and relax!

Have fun tomorrow Heidi!

How is the snow Susan?

Are you home Barb?
