Woo hoo! I'm so excited that Obama won WI!!! :yay:

Obviously, all those attack ads that Clinton went for had no impact. :goodvibes

That was the extent of her advertising here...attack ads. That's it. :confused3

Me too! I was a bit worried that her attack ads would work, but I'm happy to see it did the opposite.

Now, there is a $10M 527 in Ohio - their intent is to get Hillary elected and will have anti Obama ads and mailings targeting women. Here we go. :sad2:

Sassyat30, what were his ad's in Wisconsin, I saw the polls last night that said 33% thought his ads were unfair to her.... Her number was higher, like 57% or something along those lines.....

At least he has the funds and veracity to dispute any mis-truths from any 527 group....

On the plus side, I just heard it reported he picked up three Super Delegates (one was a transfer), too bad he can't come close to Clinton's Super Delegate number... Hopefully soon....

Oh, and if it wasn't reported yet, Obama raised 36 million in January, 23 million more than his rival.

His focused on issues and one of them was a rebuttal to one of her attack ads (how he "refuses" to debate with her, blah blah blah) and basically said she's from the same old way of gov. :)

Honestly, the attack ads she ran in WI just made her look really stupid and petty.

I'm glad he won almost 60% of the vote. :thumbsup2

if the clinton folks go dirty, that will just reconfirm my desire to support Obama and his positive message!!!!!!!

Boy am I so HAPPY to have found this thread!! My Mom has been telling me for the last few years about this "man" and until a few months ago I was in disbelief. After I took the time to find out who he was and what he stands for I realized he was the first candidate in my life, other than John Edwards, that I could truly get on board with supporting. I am hoping that our DEMO ticket will be Obama-Edwards!:thumbsup2

Add me to the list of people that supported Hillary, but have switched over to Obama.

:welcome: usewickhouse & disney1990!

I hope tomorrow sticks to the issues and doesn't get personal. There is no upside to that for either candidate.

Won't work on me! :rotfl:

Good! I missed the part about telling you why we support Obama (stupid busy season at work!)...did you mail in your ballot?

Make sure to caucus!

Hopefully it won't work on a lot of people!

Just heard the 1.4 million strong Teamster's union will be endorsing Barack...

I saw that too. :thumbsup2

It backfired in WI, I'm thinking it won't work in other states.

That's how it went in WI. It wouldn't go over well here in Ohio.

Wait, I thought you lived in TX? Am I way off? :rotfl:

WELCOME! I'm so happy to be finally supporting a candidate instead of voting against a candidate.

Hey, I'm just over the river in VA - welcome!

Yeah, I really hope it sticks to the issues but I highly doubt that will happen. He just needs to stay on message as she'll be trying to knock him down. It's his to lose now.

*snip*

Wait, I thought you lived in TX? Am I way off? :rotfl:

I'm in Ohio. I was wondering why you told me to caucus! We don't do that wacky TX stuff here. :rotfl: And the absentee ballot is completed and mailed! :woohoo:

Some news for the morning crowd:
http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5g8-DEMtAE9q4i4ySQ0eV_qZefmRQD8UUDB3G0
WASHINGTON (AP) — Democratic Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton must win 57 percent of the remaining primary and caucus delegates to erase Barack Obama's lead, a daunting task requiring landslide-sized victories by a struggling presidential candidate. Obama's victories in Wisconsin and Hawaii on Tuesday — his ninth and 10th in a row — left him with 1,178 pledged delegates won in primaries and caucuses in The Associated Press' count. Clinton has 1,024.

Anyone notice the Obama site is different this AM? The blog is gone and so is "My Dashboard"? I wonder if they are improving the servers?

First of all I think tonight will be nasty... I'm not sure I want to watch a train wreck in action.... I want to watch if it's civil, but if it's not, I really don't want to see it.... Let's hope there are two adults in the room tonight.... I fear there may only be one....

Anyone see this article? It's a rather good summation of what both Clinton and Obama have done while in the Senate, keep in mind he's been there half the time she has...

In addition to the post above comparing their legislative accomplishments, there is a blog out there that compares the substance of the two candidates websites (since that is where most every candidate puts out their plan details and such). There is a FANTASTIC chart there that literally puts their plans up side by side, and guess what? There IS a candidate that has a decided lack of substance...and that candidate is Hillary Clinton!

Check it out: http://itp.nyu.edu/alumniblender/2008/02/20/“obama-is-all-talk”-is-all-talk-2/

That's a great article as well... I wonder what he will have to do short of getting out a whiteboard and pen and putting this stuff out there on TV ads/debates & rallies to shut people up who say he is just a suit..... It's annoying and so disingenuous at best when they start with this line about him...
