DH said to check into the FTP for Aug., DS is turning 9....nothing is for sure, but who is cheapest to get FTP through? We need to do a value, hopefully ASMO, and know that goes quicly...Anyone?

I think all the values are gone fo August. I would call CRO first and then maybe Deams Unlimited. Good Luck getting what you wish fr.

We are staying at the Swan, and earlier than the FTP is happening, so booked through Dreams Unlimited, but I believe that expedia had the FTP prices listed on their site, also. It is worth a shot!

Checked and Disney.com had Movies the 2nd and 3rd weeks of Aug, Sat to Sat. Expedia had some availability of allstars but I didn't find Movies with Sat - Sat stays. Don't know what is available elsewhere enjoy. Disney includes Insurance, but you can opt out on the quote page if you wish, that should make the prices the same I think.

Hey FINFAN,nice to know we're not the only ones who caved .I suppose I should ask exactly what kind of "FIN"Fan you are before offering my advice(Dolphins are the hated enemy of the Patriots,almost hated as much as the Jets)but since this is a Disney board and not a football board,I'll let it go

We just boooked two days ago through our regular travel agent for July 25-August1.She got us the FTP for the same price as DC could,or the quoted price on the Disney site.We did our own air and got a pretty good rate out of Hartford($778 for 4).We were also able to get either preferred or standard at ASMusic.Good luck!

Hi, thank you all for the helpful advice and suggestions! Bottom line, We did get ASMO, thru WDTC, they were exactly the same rate as DU, and CM was so helpful Iit just felt right to book w/them. I also, however,(don't flame me for having a seperate ressie!) booked ASMO on the AP room only code,1 adult AP, a 7day PHP for 2 adults, 1 child comes out to exactly the same as the pkg. quote I rec'd. I will add 1 adult fee for the waterpark/DQ if we choose to do them, we tend to see how the weather is. Since those options will be covered in everyone but my tix, it's not too bad because hopefully we can drive down again before AP expires, and here's the MAIN reason, 5 day cancellation instead of 45. We would stand to lose the 200 dep plus possibly one nights stay. I was told by CM that it depends on the resort if they choose to charge you or not. SO, I guess it boils down to the flexibility of cancellation. When I inquired about the vaca. ins. my main concern was job loss, would it be covered and yesterday I was told no, but today I WAS TOLD YES, THAT IT FALLS UNDER "UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCE" As much as I would like to do FTP, the 2 different stories have made me nervous, and I need to go with the no penalty /5 day version. As I said, we are caving so this also gives me time to make sure we can really do this. DS will turn 9 on the trip tho, it would be a surprise...I am going to think about it when the dust settles from all the planning. I have to make sure we really want to sacrafice for this, and not just because I was able to meet the challenge of doing it for under $1500 for a week! The thrill of the chase you know! I am an advertisers dream...good thin DH keeps me grounded.
Pat fan...oooooohh...hostile territory I STILL remeber the "snow plow" incident a few years back when you guys were allowed to clear the field for the kick! I have been a MIAMI fan for a long time. Don Shula is a class act all the way, don't get me started on Jimmy johnson, and in 2005 when Marino is inducted to the Hall of Fame, I can honestly say THAT trip to Ohio will be MORE IMP. than planning one to WDW(forgive me DISER'S) If it's any consolation my DS, the TRAITOR, likes the J E T S , and DH likes the BEARS (one of my LEAST fav's,but we do live in Chicago ) DD has her prioroties straight and is a Miami fan. Football seaon get VERY interesting at our house. I could go on for hours, but you're right, this isn't the football board, so I will stop. I think I just hijacked my own thread!
Enjoy your trip, I hope we actually go thru w/ours, if not I like to think of it as "postponing", not cancelling!

Hi! Another Dolfan here!!!! Sorry, I couldn't resist replying, even tho it is OT! I was livid at the "snow plow" incident too! Me and DH are both fish fans and are trying to go to Miami this fall to see a game, of course, we would have to stop on the way home to use up our leftover days on our hoppers!!!! But not sure yet if we can swing the $$$$. We do have tix for the Thanksgiving day game at Dallas!!!! can hardly wait!!!

Always great to hear from another Finhead! Wow, enjoy the Dallas game...I am excited this year with Bob Greises sin Brian coming over from Denver. Next generation of talent. Fiedler certainly never got the team going, so this should be pretty good. Oh, how I miss Dan, talk about getting railroaded! Now if we could just get those Shula boys back over there and lose Wannie... Have a great trip if you get down for a game...we love staying at the Yankee Clipper in Lauderdale when we are luck enough to go, check it out sometime.
