NYE Epcot 'Rave' with the fam

My family and I just booked a trip to WDW that overlaps with NYE. I know all the basic stuff (Crazy crowds, go to MK the 29th etc.), but i was wondering what to expect with regards to the attractions/dance party around the different pavilions. I'm pretty sure in the past Italy, China, and the Fountain at future world have all had some sort of dance party with Japan having a silent disco. Do off duty CP cast members go? Are they fun? I will be there with my mom add dad (who like to party) college aged sister, my HS aged brother, and myself who is in college. Also are the rides open til park close? What else should i expect?

Be sure that your maingate pass will be active at EP on NYE. I think my daughter's pass was blocked out last year.

It sounds like they are not a CP - just a regular guest.
(but to answer the CP question, Epcot is completely blocked out on NYE, so the only cast who will be there will be working or used a regular ticket for entry)

The attractions should all be open until the park closes, unless otherwise noted.

This is the info for last years NYE, and should be a good guide for this year. Expect massive crowds and long waits all night
