Still stuck in my office but I got some more news - evidently they don't test for things like Anthrax and such at the site the have to take it to a lab. Which they have done. They blue lighted it into Boston so hopefully we will know something soon. Weird part was there were news helicopters over head when this all started and about a half hour later they were gone. I checked all the local news stations and there was nothing on their Internet sites, I don't know if they had something on the 12:00 news or not I would say that it would have to be on the 5:00 news though since there is a news truck at the bottom of the parking lot. I better be out of here by then. Thanks for the well wishes I'm sure it's nothing, at lease I think I'm sure. It better be nothing. I can't believe someone had nothing better to do than send that letter. The poor woman that opened it unknowingly is in her 60's just the nicest lady and she's all nerved up and scared. Not nice.

Back when we were running a lot of these calls in our county it did not take long for the news agencies to “ignore” them unless it was a slow news day. It is not the contaminations you know about in this case, it is if you get contaminated and are unaware for 4 or 5 days that is really dangerous. There are field indication tests they are just not very reliable.

O.K. here is my Friday - I'm quarantined in my building!!! Seems some nut sent a letter here with a "white substance" and a note (conflicting stories about what the note says) but a little never wracking, ventalation system is now off but that took way to long – we have news helicopters overhead and “has mat” teams out front a little unnerving. I got to run. I’ll post some more later, I hope. Anyone around Eastern Mass watch the 12:00 news and you’ll see where I work.

Good luck. When that happened at our office, soon after 9/11, it turned out to be foot powder. Took awhile to find that out though, so it caused a commotion.

At my mother-in-law's today, working on staining her deck, and getting ready to welcome more of the fam tomorrow to celebrate Mother's Day, and her 81st birthday (several days early) . We were going to go into Montgomery this evening with my younger son and his family, to have dinner with my mom and dad, but she hasn't had too good a day. Had a doctor's app't and a CT scan - and was referred today for Hospice; and she and Dad aren't up to company tonight. (She even told Hospice to wait and come Monday. She's a little "type A" and probably wants to straighten up the house again before they come. I'm afraid I take after her....)

Congratulations to all those who have had good news today. Everybody send good thoughts to Princess - and send some "What are you thinking?" thoughts to my sellers, who have had their closing paperwork a week and a half, and haven't sent it back. Once again, wouldn't you think you'd want your money?

Just wanted to share that we booked our first BWV stay with our new BWV contract. We have a 2BDR standard view for 9 nights, 2/22/09-3/3/09. There will be 7 of us. We tried to do a few days prior, but no standard views available. Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know that we made our reservations and we're really excited!

In this day and age you have to take everything serious but all of our first reaction was that it had to a hoax. It was weird when those men in the spacesuits walked in.

Maybe that is the issue, there is a local high school put in lock down today with shots fired right outside the front doors and a few other pretty big news stories. Well, maybe if someone came running out the front door of our building foaming at the moth with a third eye growing they would put it on the news. I can tell you this the NIMBY's that live around there are going to throw a fit if this is in the local paper tomorrow and they knew nothing about until then. At least that will be fun.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Hospice is really great though. DH's Grandma had them and I was truely amazed at how compassionate they were. Treasure this visit with your mom and dad , no one has a magic mirror.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Hospice is really great though. DH's Grandma had them and I was truely amazed at how compassionate they were. Treasure this visit with your mom and dad , no one has a magic mirror.

So much easier to contemplate these life changes, since Mom is at peace. We get to worry most about Dad. Their 62nd anniverary is next week. My wife and I will spend the day with them on Sunday - taking in lunch.

I know how you feel. We almost lost DH"s mom in Feb., thankfully she was in the hospital when she went into cardic arrest. My FIL was lost, he has alhemizers disease that is in stage 2. Every day he asked where MIL was, that has been the most difficult time we have had since he was diagnosed. MIL said that she is now at peace knowing we'll take care of FIL. I'm glad your mom is at peace and that your doing okay.

I've enjoyed reading all the waiting for ROFR and how long does ROFR take threads.

We are waiting for ROFR on two contracts we're trying to purchase through the Timeshare Store - who's been great to us thus far.

Can't wait. Though it's killing my wife more than me. At least we have one last "cash" trip coming up at the Grand Floridian 10/23 - 10/30, after that we'll be welcomed home. Good luck to everyone else on here.

Just got in. They still had the floor where the letter was isolated when I left and those people had to shower and are being allowed to leave. I still have seen nothing on the news I find it very strange especially where I saw the news helicopters and the news truck, very weird. I still had not heard how the tests came back but I have to assume if they were positive for any bioterrorism thing it would have been a huge story nation wide so maybe because it just faded off that is a good thing. If I do see anything on line I will post the link so you know I'm not nuts.

Back from the game. We got lacrossed the entire evening. Yuck!! The guys took it on the chin again. The fighter sat out his game. Laxlad had an assist and a goal! Whooo Hoooo! He is now the high scorer for the JV. The field conditions were horrible.

Grandbuddy, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. I am glad she is at peace but it is still very difficult. We lost Greg's Dad and Step Dad in Feb. We thought we were going to lose his Mom. She has a bad heart. She is doing well now but it was really tough on her. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
