Yes indeed!!!

My wife got to the bank 10 minutes after the 2pm cutoff time to wire the funds, but they will be wired tomorrow. The bank did fax the other paperwork, so that is at the office. Almost Done!!! ;)

Vmah, hopefully the seller gets his paperwork right back and you'll be good to go!

I just called and waitlisted BCV, BWV, AKL and OKW for the June trip...we'll see how that one goes..

Verandah Man, how exactly did this work, and who did you use? I was under the impression we had to mail a cashier's check. We will be paying cash out of our checking, so if we can wire it, we'd certainly do so, but I've never done it. An explanation in brief would be appreciated.

And Congrats on your progress!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I was looking at the list and noticed that some of those on the list have been on there for a while. If anybody knows if someone on the list got ROFRed or passed and just forgot about us, let me know and I will update the list thanks.

Took a quick scan through the 'made it through' list and the only one I saw was Joyzilli, assuming it is the same contract (75 at BWV) the contract passed on 5/10. I did not see anyone else from this list named there (but I may have missed some).

Just jumped on and thought I'd throw my two cents...Wiring funds may cost you more than just mailing. Receiver may charge and fee...sender may charge a fee. It can be done but I'd inquire with your bank and the settlement office. Our settlement people included instructions with our closing packet.

Welcome dis...mine took a total of about 7.5 weeks start to finish then another week until I had points in the system. There have been some really whacky waits with no realy rhyme or reason...Some have gone start to finish in a month or so.

Don't obsess too much...it'll drive you nuts! :scared1:

Learned today from the closing company that my sellers are out of town, set to return this Wednesday. Throws everything back two weeks (Wednesday will be two weeks to the day, since closing docs were originally sent out), as they will then have to complete and notarize their docs. Oh, well.:surfweb:

It was quite simple really. One of pages we received stated if you wire the $$ then you can just fax the paperwork to the closing company. My bank charged $20.00 to wire the funds, another $12.00 was added to our final cost to cover the wire funds for the closing company's bank. It's a good thing the wire didn't go through today, when I got home I noticed our bank forgot to add in the $12.00 and forgot to put our file # on the wire. I called the bank as soon as I got home and had the correction made.

It was a little bit more expensive than if we sent the check and paperwork overnight, but at least this way, we know everything gets to the title company quicker, and it saved a trip to the post office.

That's a bite in the butt...have they been out for two weeks??? With your connections you could have tracked them down! :lmao:

Then 20 more days to get estoppified...then 2 weeks in closing limbo (my documents and money went in, but the sellers haven't been at home to receive and complete the closing paperwork). Once my contract is closed, they say 7 to 10 days to get into Disney's system, and have your points show up.

That stinks!!! :sad2:

I have no information about my sellers, other than a last name that showed up on the sales contract, and on one closing document. No first names, home states, nothing! (I wouldn't have tracked them down, anyway, but under the circumstances, it would've been impossible, even if I were so inclined.)

I have the first and last name of our seller, but no state of residence.

I have 1st & last names & the state on my contract. I wonder if we're all using different companies? I'm using TSS.

I'm sorry this is dragging on for you Grandbuddy. I guess your sellers don't want their money as much as you want their points. :confused3
