Good day everyone...........we are in the high 80's. By Friday we are to be around 101.........yikes...I'm not ready for it to be that hot!!! Our garden is looking good, we are going to have to cover some of it to give it more shade..its not ready for the high heat yet either...

Our Shallots look amazing..I'm excited about those its my first year to plant them.

Neither party is to be penalized in any way.

No Points!!!! They say to give them up to a week to post the points. Why the person entering the information can't also enter the points is beyond my understanding.

Well....at least it's still forward progress! Closed last Monday and in the system today.

Sorry V-Man, it really seems like Disney's been dragging its heels on estoppel a lot lately. We've just entered into ours and I'm not looking forward to how long this is apt to take!

BTW, should I mention that it only took 3 days from the time I sent in the money and paperwork (4/9) until I got the email today (4 /13)?

After reading everyone's posts (hang tough, Verandah Man!!), I feel like I should keep my excitement on the down low......

ETA: It seems like the seller was highly motivated to get things done (guess that helped speed the process along?)

Apparently Disney has one person who enters your contract and another one that enters the points. Seems very confusing, but MS told me that when I called. Keep calling, I was in the system on a Friday with no points, Tuesday morning points were there. You can also check on the web site and see if they show up. Congrats

I am one tired puppy. I got called in to work Sunday at 10pm, didn't get home until 1:30A. Monday back at work 6:40A and didn't get off until 5p. Didn't get done with dinner and clean up until 8p, bed by 9. Same time frame today except DH got pizza for dinner, no dishes We had very heavy rains Sunday into Monday, lots of flooding. If I didn't know better I would have sworn it was a nor'easterner. At least the sun came out today

Neither party is to be penalized in any way Really?!?! Well, since your not going to be penalized in any way, just call up and make those reservations like you would if you closed now.

If it's worth anything I'm sure that it wont take until June 28th, they sent me a closing date at one point for May 16th and I closed much earlier than that.

Oh, and Laxmom, I thought of you and your Buckeyes with their big win, they made the ESPN top 10 highlights.

And, VerAndy, I'm hanging there with you. At least my sellers are due home tomorrow, to find the closing docs that have been waiting for them FOR TWO WEEKS!! Deep breaths. And everything else had gone so well. Other than the fact that I can't find (so far) the contract I want for my second purchase. The one I tried to offer on through GMAC - apparently the sellers don't even return Carolyn's phone calls. Talk about not motivated!!

I think I had a less experienced CM - I mentioned to them that my points still had to be entered....and they said "oh no, that's now how it should be." Then she put me on hold and came back and told me that exact thing. I might have learned that from a post you made! Then I asked about getting access to the website. She said that depending on how computer literate I was I may or may not need help, but that I would need my pin to do it and that would be mailed to me. I figured I would just wait until I call tomorrow to check on points and see if I could get some assistance to get on the web immediately. At least I think that can be done?

I can't even believe some of the stuff; people making reservations with points that they just sold, not returning paperwork, not returing calls. If you don't want to sell, pull it! You contacted them to sell, no one twisted your arm. I just don't get people sometimes!

Was that not amazing!! Stephan Schroder ran it all the way back for a goal! He's the OSU goalie guys! Talk about a mental game. I think they will find a tougher opponent in Duke.

Not a stellar night for Laxlad. His team lost 11-8 BUT.....this school is very afluent and has had a lacrosse fprogram for a very long time. (Marvin Lewi's son plays for them - Bengals head coach.) This is the first class to graduate in our school that has had the chance to play every year since 7th grade. When the seniors were in 7th grade is when our program started so our kids with the most experience have played 6 years; a lot of these schools, the kids have been playing since 4th or 5th grade or even earlier. The fact that they held the game as long as they did is really an accomplishment.

No news here yet. I am really hoping to hear something by the end of the week. DH is gone the first part of next week so we could have a delay in returning our paperwork.

I found out that our bank forgot to add the $12.00 wire transfer fee for the closing company. My DW called the bank and spoke with the person who wired the $$ she said she would take care of the mistake and add the $12.00 in. Yeah, she did, but that $12.00 wound up costing me an additional $32.00 because I got charged another $12.00 for the closing company wire, plus my bank charged me another $20.00 to wire the money. My DW is calling the bank at 9am this morning to find out why we have to pay for their mistake.

I let my DW handle this stuff, she is a former Bill Collector(22 years), me, I'm a pushover.
