I'm amazed at how much I could bring the action in.

I just wish I'd gotten more of the fall leaves in the background.

What amazing shots! And what a beautiful subject.

Can you see the alligator amidst all the duckweed?

Tara and I decided to have Disney free weekend last weekend - there really are OTHER things to do in and around Orlando!

This was taken at Jungle Adventure - Christmas, FL.

I took this along the side of the road... Tara hates when I stop the car on the shoulder to do this.... the road is not very busy, so it was not a big thing -lots of beautiful yellow flowers!

Here's a fungus or would that be some fungi growing on a tree in Fort Christmas. I liked the color contrast against the browns and greens in most of the park.

Sea World Halloween Spooktakular
One very silly Sea Lion- we like to think he was covering his face in despair as there was a very noisy couple of sea lions who appeared to be arguing for sometime...

Here's a mom and her pup. I watched this pair for sometime. It was fun to watch the pup follow mom everywhere. It wanted to nurse at one point and mom was not in the mood - and she scolded him/her. At one point the both sort of settled in for a nap!

This guy was a human statue and stood very still for quite some time -without blinking!

I hope I can finally post a link. This is probably my favorite picture I've ever taken. It was taken at the Antietam National Battlefield in Sharpsburg, MD. Its the New York State monument.

I've printed it off as an 8x10 and it looks AMAZING on the wall.

Another from Sharpsburg. This is "Old Simon" at the Antietam National Cemetery:

All of the photos were taken with my Kodak CX7430 digital camera. I have some really cool pictures from Chicago and Mackinac Island, but I'll have to upload those later.

A couple more of my photos:

This was taken in Mackinaw City looking out towards Mackinac Island, April 2006:

The Lincoln Memorial and Reflecting pool taken from the WW2 Memorial in Washington, DC, June 2006:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v122/Yzerbear19/100_9237.jpg
I actually waited 2 years to get that shot. When we went to DC in 2004 they had the reflecting pool drained and empty. So I was quite excited when we went in June and seen that it was full this time.

The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, IL., September 2005
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v122/Yzerbear19/100_3526_0001.jpg
Not only are the museum in Chicago really cool, but the buildings are beautiful. We had to wait for the museum to open so instead of waiting in the lobby we went outside and took pictures of the building.

This is the covered bridge at Greenfield Village in Dearborn, MI. I believe this one was from Civil War remembrance weekend in 2006, but it may have been from 2005.

Statue in the lilly pond at the Lincoln Park Conservatory, Chicago, IL. Taken Sept. 29, 2006:

I find this statue very fascinating for some reason. Everytime I go to the conservatory I end up taking several photos of it. I think its so beautiful.
