November 29 - December 6, 2014. 7 night Eastern Careibean on FANTASY

We have booked this cruise too...our first ever cruise and sooo excited that it is with Disney. We are traveling with DD who will be 7, DS who will be 5, DH, and my parents in the cabin adjoining ours. Booked the verandah cabin. Can't wait to learn more from some cruise veterans on here!!

My daughter will be 7 while on this cruise as well. This is our second Disney cruise and she is super excited.

I was poking around on the DCL site today and noticed there was one 5E stateroom available (the ones on the back of the ship with an extra large verandah). So, we switched from our 11/22 7A to the 11/29 5E! I am so excited to be joining you guys! :woohoo:

It will be just my DD 12 and I.

I sure hope that Thanksgiving weekend airfare doesn't bankrupt me lol. :scared1:

My DS will also be 12 on this cruise. So excited to be going on the Fantasy again

Ok, so we are planning on flying in to Orlando on the Thursday before the cruise. We would like to go to the Kennedy Space Centre on the Friday.

I am at a loss what to do....rent a car at MCO or book at Fly, Snooze, and Cruise package and just cab it to the space centre. Then we still have to get back to MCO on the 6th.

This is our first cruise and just wondering what others do.....any advise or suggestions would be helpful.

Cheers

This will be our first time on the Fantasy. We were on the Dream this past September and that was our first cruise ever. Now DD (Emilee) doesn't even want to go to the parks any more. She just wants to cruise lol. She is looking forward to the Edge. Last time she was in the Club/Lab and she loved it. She wants to move up with the older kids next time though. ;)

We were on the Fantasy last January and I absolutely loved it. My three children don't want to do the parks anymore either which is great with me. I love cruising and especially Disney style. DS ( Jackson) went to the Club/Lab a couple of times but was a bit too old for what they did there. I'm hoping he enjoys the Edge in November.

My suggestion would be to rent a car at MCO and then return it on the Saturday we depart and then reserve another car to pick up at the cruise terminal when we get back and return it to MCO. That's what we are actually thinking about doing because we are getting in the Wednesday before and want to go to Universal Studios on Friday.

I will tell Emilee to be on the lookout for Jackson in the Edge. :goodvibes

We will be on this cruise! This will be our 3rd Disney cruise and our first Holiday cruise! I think i'm more excited than the kids!

Will be cruising with DH, myself, DD (7) and DD (14 mths)

Definitely want to sign up for the FE! Please let me know if a list has already been started.

So just because I am an extremely over planning person, I would like to volunteer myself as the Fish Extender Organizer! LOL Also just an idea, when we went on the Fantasy we booked a Private Mixology Class with just the Disboard members! As we get closer to our sail date I would love to organize one of these classes again!

Hi! Have you started an FE list yet? I just want to make sure I don't miss it! (I'm also a planner and want to get started collecting my gifts :-D)

I most definitely want to take part in the FE group. We didn't know about it on our last cruise but it sounds do neat and I have already started looking at ideas. I just love Disney cruises and can't wait to meet our group

We did the same thing on our last cruise heading to Kennedy Space Center the day before sailing. The best price was to rent a car. We stayed overnight in Cocoa Beach. We got a great deal on a Budget rental with one way drop off from Orlando airport to Budget near Cape Canaveral. They had a shuttle that took us right to port. We did same thing on our return - got shuttle to budget, picked up car and went to airport. Smooth, easy process.

Have we thought about naming the cruise so we can see if a DISigner will make a logo for us? I would be willing to find out if any DISigner will help us out once a name is chosen. My last cruise was over Thanksgiving 2012 and the name was "Feasting on the Fantasy."

Let's all come up with some names and choose! The logo can be used for FE gifts, t-shirts, door magnets, etc.

A couple thoughts to get the ideas rolling::idea:
Festive Fantasy Voyage
Fabulous Fantasy Voyage
Frolicking on the Fantasy

Post your ideas and lets have some fun!
