Maybe about 6 weeks out or Oct. 1. Given the time of year, things will be busy for everyone. Six weeks or so should be plenty of time to plan. The last FE we participated in, some latecomers were added because they wanted to hand out FE to those on list. Only those who had extras or could do so handed out to them.

Ok so this is what I will need to start the FE list please list the below if you are interested in the FE!

Name of everyone in the cabin
Family Last Name
Cabin Number
Kid(s) ages
Kids favorite character

For example:

Heather Devin Ethan
Dahlstrom
12508
Ethan 3
Buzz Lightyear

If anyone needs anymore information please add! Thanks!

Hello !!

We are booked on this cruise too. This is my husband and I FIRST Disney Cruise. But we have sailed on 2 different Carnival ships in the past.
This is also our first time at each of these ports.

We will be traveling with my Father in Law, Mother in Law, her son, his wife and their 4 kids. Plus Mother in laws 2 sisters, niece, nieces husband and their 2 kids.
So a group of 14 total!

I have been reading the boards and learning all kinds of tricks and tips.
For instance we were able to be book a 07A obstructed view veranda!!

Looking forward to a whole new experience.. I am so excited.

I will be joining this group officially later this week when I book on our 3 day magic trip, but I had to come search you out to join the fun since we narrowed down what we were booking this onboard. We are in for the FE and the private mixology class. I would think we will end up getting a large number of people interested in the FE. Maybe we can stop group one at say 10 cabins, and then start a new group for people that add later and so on. Just a thought.

It will be my DH, DS6, DD4 (at time of sailing) and my mom.

Hi!
We are excited about this cruise! It'll be our first on the Fantasy, but our 6th Disney Cruise, overall. Can't wait to see the ship decorated for Christmas! I have joined the FB page, there I have listed members in our party - 9 in all. Ages of kids at sailing: 21 (still my kid), 18, 16, 5 and 3 - all girls. The two older ones are hoping for others their ages to hang out with, since they will no longer be allowed in the clubs.
Has anyone been to San Juan before? I really want to know about the horseback riding excursion.

My family and I are very excited for this cruise. I'm also a little worried. This is our first cruise and my husband and I are traveling with a 6 year old and 9 year old. Actually my son will be celebrating his 9th birthday aboard the ship on Dec 5th. Can someone tell me how the FE work and give me some tips on packing for a cruise. Thanks, and looking forward to meeting some of you on board. I've also joined the Facebook group.

Hi! Check out this link for information on FE - it is very thorough! http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=32651483&postcount=378

Are you looking for specific packing information? We overpacked our first time and won't do that again! You really don't need shampoo, soap, conditioner as Disney provides them in the rooms and they are a nice quality.

Do you pack formal ware? I understand there is a formal night, if you don't go to that can you pick a different restaurant? I was thinking of just packing shorts and t-shirts but does it get cool enough on the ship at night for sweaters and pants?

Yes, we packed formal attire. My husband wore Docker pants with button shirt and tie. No jacket. DD was a dress...one was more formal on formal night. And I packed two dresses...one was more formal. With that being said, we won't be packing as dressy this time. Things weren't as formal as we expected. You did see some really formal attire, but most was dressy casual. For semi-formal night, I will pack a dress pant outfit and for formal night, I have a black dress that is easy/light to pack and doesn't wrinkle. You can choose to eat in Cabana's (buffet restaurant) that turns to a sit down restaurant during dinner and skip formal nights. However, Disney has made formal night dress optional and changed the dress code policy.

It was cooler the first night on ship if you were outside as we weren't in Caribbean yet. Second night outside, it was warmer. Very nice once in Caribbean. I watched weather in Florida the week we left and gauged based on that forecast. The inside of the ship always seemed comfortable to us. However, I would have a pair of pants and sweater or long sleeve shirt/hoodie packed just in case.

After many cruises on the other Disney Ships we'll finally be sailing on the Fantasy :cool1::yay: So excited...we love the holiday cruises.

Would like to join FE list!

Peggy

We are going to be on this cruise also. My other half and my sister and I. We have been on this cruise before and loved it. Cant wait to go back and see more of Puerto Rico and try the food. If you haven't tried the Mufongo, it is a must. :wave2:

we would love to be in the private mixology, how do you go about it?

We just booked this cruise today; hubby (Tom), our son (Mikey) and myself (Sue). We are all adults, but DisKids at heart!!! :lmao:

This will be Mikey's first time on Fantasy, but hubby and I will be sailing on her the 3rd time and we LOVE the Fantasy! We are booked in the 1 Bedroom Concierge Suite and looking forward to it! :)

We are interested in participating in the FE; suite #11006.
Last name; OKray
Tom (Dad is 58)
Sue (Mom is 56)
Mikey (son is 35)
Our favorite character is Mickey!!!

Hello everyone! I am OKraysLoveDisney's son, Mikey. I Look forward to cruising the Fantasy with you all. As mom mentioned this will be my 1st time onboard the Fantasy but I am not new to cruising. I sailed on the Magic last January while she was in Galveston and I've also been on two Princess cruises. Yes, Mickey is my favorite Disney Character but more specifically Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey with Sailor Mickey a very close second. Actually, it's probably more like 1A and 1B.

Again, I look foward to the cruise and meeting everyone onboard.

So do we!
Really?! You're not related to Kim, are you? I saw that she posted on the FB page that she will be on this cruise too, along with some other family members. I went to school with her. :scratchin

Hi everyone I'm not sure if everyone is aware of our Facebook group, and I have to admit I have not been checking either lately. I will be updating and up loading the current FE list this weekend, so please if you are interested in joining and have not posted either on here or Facebook please do so.

The private mixology class was a big hit my last cruise on the Fantasy. The group got so big that we had a private class in The Irish pub. Needless to say it was amazing and worked out so well!

Also, just a thought and we all can discuss closer to our sail date but on the first cruise day we all met up with everyone on dis board and got to introduce ourselves as well as they kids to everyone.

I hope everyone is staying warm!
