November 2012 Trip planners #4~almost Disney time! Everyone welcome!

I'm pretty sure the first MVMCP sold out last year too. I think part of it is that it is Vetrans Day weekend so you have a lot of visitors for that. Plus you have a lot of people who want to check it out and report on it.

I'm planning on the 16th. I haven't bought my tickets yet though.

We will be there the 16th as well, bought our tickets way back in early September. So excited.

I just needed to share my excitement. We are still 9 days out, but today I'm going to call the Disney Florist and order a Christmas surprise for my mom! I'm so excited *bounces* But I am the worst at keeping a secret!

What a great surprise for your mom! At least you won't have to keep the secret for very long.

LESS THAN 24 HOURS!! We leave at 5am tomorrow morning- arriving in WDW by 2pm!!

I've got almost everything on my list checked off- just need to pack the car, get some $$ from the bank, and do some cleaning around the house.

Disney, here we come!!!!

Just finished my online check in I'm soooooooooooo excited Only 10 more days until our family is in WDW

So the remaining 8 members of our trip have all received their ME stuff..

So I called ME to find out if there was a problem.
Seems our TA who has had our flight information since Sept 11th has not done anything with it.

So the CM entered it all in and then went on to tell me that since it is so close to our travel dates that my tags won't have my flight info on them and will take longer to get to my room
And to help the ME people out I should just go ahead and pull all my luggage off the carousel myself and drag it to the podium

This is second thing our TA has screwed up, I'm afraid to find out what else.

So now what? Will my luggage get to my room or not?


This is the second thing our TA has screwed up on... not trip ruining, but still very very annoying!!

We had to get our bags last trip and take them on ME. However it wasn't the TA that screwed up.....IT WAS ME.....I forgot to put the tags on them.... This trip I will put them on.

Got ours for the 29th, can't wait!!!

I got ours for the 25th and found out later on that this is the least crowded as the Sunday after Thanksgiving always has the lowest attendance. Boy, did we get lucky on that one! BTW, everyone who is leaving soon....have the best trip ever!

Exactly it was nice to have our bags. I plan to pack bathing suits in our carry on just in case. I would love to go see Osborne light on our arrival night. I don't have much planned other than take it easy that day.

Seriously? The Sunday after thanksgiving isn't crazy? I have MVMCP tickets for that day and was so worried it would be crazy busy. Is it less crowded for regular park hours as well? We were thinking of skipping that day but if its going to be less crowded we might reconsider.

Whew! Now that Halloween is done all my concentration can go towards packing. We leave next Friday!

We leave in less than 24 hours and I haven't packed yet.
No matter how much I plan ahead of time, it seems that I am always packing the day before or even the day of. I thought I was going to pack today but was so busy with other thing not trip related.

Anyway, for everyone else travelling in the next few days, have a safe and fun trip!!!!!!!

We are planning on MVMCP on the 29th, but I have held off on buying because dh would like to wait and see about the weather.

Today when I was stalking for that one last ADR I would like to get, I no longer had to press the button from Oct to Nov. For me, it just made the trip all the much closer for some reason. In a few days, I will order dd's birthday cake and that will be one more item to check off my list.

Good Morning All!! Just 13 days and counting for us and just 3 from being able to do the online check-in. Once we do that, how does it work. Do we still have to go to actual check in counter or how does it work?? Thanks for the info. Getting very exciting around here
