November 12, 2005....7 Night Eastern...Who Else?

we could always make it more than one event...take a head count on bottles and participants (and chocoholics), do a meet up a few different evenings at whatever location...

Hey Choc_Marg,,,,,,our neighbors live in Carefree,,,near the Harold's Cave Creek bar. (I hope that made sense to you) They are trying desperately to move here permantly. They have this incrediable house here on the beach, however, they only get to fly down (maybe) 3-4 times a year and enjoy it due to their jobs. Where do you live in Phoenix???

I was going to post something earlier, but was afraid of that scary one! I have dreams of him! Or is it a her? Gosh, I was only away for one day and look at all the posts!! Don't any of you work! Wait, I don't work, but I do have a sick child. Had her at the emergency room this morning and just got home. She has croup! This is new for us. And, DH is out of town! She is resting now and I pray for sleep tonight. The cruise is sounding really good right about now, and the wine! We live in wine country and will bring a few along. All the ideas sound good for the wine event! Just count me in!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Yeah...those are all good ideas! Remind me though how you become part of the wine taste (DCL's). Do we pay$? Do we need tickets or sign ups? That could be fun. Or, making it more of an evening thing WITHOUT THE KIDS....that maybe sounds better and more relaxing now that I think about it.

Okay, another question? Is this coming Saturday's sailing the starter group for staggered times of dining? I remember that somewhere. So how is anyone supposed to link dining if they wanted to? None of us will find out what time you are truly dining until we board, right?

To help poor Barkley not fret about one more little detail, I vote we make a decision about the wine/chocolate meet before 11/4. :teeth:

Also, to the newbies......HURRY! GO BUY 30 POSTCARDS FROM YOUR HOMETOWN AND SIGN THE BACKS to be part of our postcard exchange (trying to teach the kiddies some geography while we pull them out of school to cruise!)....only if you want, of course. And I still say 30 'cause siblings can surely share, right?

Also, this wine thing.....bring a bottle or two of your choice to share....and/or GOOD chocolate.....no left over snickers bars from your kids' Halloween pumpkin bucket. :teeth:

I am off to do a Dream Dinners cooking class with girlfriends (also a wine tasting! :rolleyes1 ). They just opened one of these outlets here in Bend. Anyone here heard of it or have done it? Sounds great for us busy/working moms. I'll come home tonight with 12 different yummy dinners....ready to freeze, each serves 4-6 people. They are healthy too! All that came to $196 and they change the menu options every month. This is a great idea someone had! 2 women started in it Seattle, WA. They are doing a killing! :goodvibes

Go to dreamdinners.com ......they have them all over the country!
They shop, wash, dice and clean up your mess. You get the recipes if you want them, too. I'll let you know what I thought of the whole experience.

My parents live half the year at Desert Mountain (just outside of Carefree....I have been there many times....cute little town) :goodvibes

Yes, Welcome aboard newbie! I agree totally to let CD&F have 2000. It was all I could do not to look for new posts, when I knew there wouldn't be any till they got power and that doesn't look like anytime soon. Hoping they have their docs in hand cause they are going to really need this trip. :sunny:

About 15 minutes from Harold's. We live as far north as you can get to Cave Creek and still have a Phoenix mailing address. What do they do for a living??

Hello everyone,

Long time disney fan first time disney cruiser. Travelling with husband, and two daughters age 5 and 2. They are so excited. We are staying at the Radisson the night before and plan to board as soon as possible. I enjoyed reading all the threads. Am a little worried the 2 year isn't allowed in the pool. Is the play area for the little ones enough to distract from the fact they can't go in the pool? Any other tips would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to another newbie. :wave2: Where have you been for the past 1928 posts? :confused3 There is ton's of information on this thread, so if you can take the time to read back thru the important ones, you'll be as smart as all the rest of us at this point. Look forward to meeting you, maybe at the Raddisson. :drinking:

Welcome All4psu! We also have a 2 year old so we'll have to get them together for a "playdate"! I bet if we give them some toys, they'll be happy in the Mickey ear - they'll be so much going on they won't even miss the pool! I don't ever use the pool really myself with all of the other fun stuff to do! :sunny:

Page 105. But C&D&F was keeping track of that!

And I'm not posting what I did before in reference to my choice of litigator.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes (and for not making me feel too stupid about post 1900!). I see that there are posts about green wrist bands with the cruise date...can we still get in on those? Trying to read all these posts get so confusing! I'm still looking for others with a DS-9 and DS-7 (did I word that correctly?!). I missed getting Palo reservations online (didn't realize I could do that until it was too late)...does anyone know if they save some reservations for once you are on board?

choc_marg (DW) is out on the town, but I'm sure she'll update the wristband availability. I know "we" were close to being out, but there is still plenty of time to order more. At the rate we're going, we'll probably have to order more!

I'm trying to do a temporary cruiser list, not knowing when C&D&F will be able to post again. The last one is a little stale, but does include all of the DIS kids ages.

Yes, as I understand it, they DO hold back some reservations. So, you should be good. But you probably want to get that done ASAP after you get on the ship. Maybe some veteran cruisers can answer better how you do that!

Did you see llyolf has nicknamed the new Dive-in theatre screen the 'Dumbotron'? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I'm gonna keep posting every 40 seconds until C&D&F returns.
