re. the ship's time-every time we've done the disney cruise they make a big announcement the night before reminding us that the ships clocks will be changed to reflect the change in local time and to change our clocks accordingly.
re. the mco hyatt-great place (in fact i need to book our day rate there for disembakation day, i am not sitting around the airport with the kids for several hours
). they have a rooftop pool (heated), very comfortable rooms, and excellent room service (big servings, and the absolute BEST chicken soup i have ever had in my life!). there are plenty of places in the airport to eat (both in and to-go), i also just checked the airport website: there is an arcade, dvd rentals, ice cream shops (in addition to all kinds of other shops)....
also on the rate you were quoted-do you or dh have any government affiliation (am i right, he works for a college? is it a state or county facility-if so you can bring i.d. that states that and qualify for a government rate that you can request at booking: it was around $89.00 for a non-holiday nite). oh yeah-it is very quiet and relaxing plus it is located right next to the security check in so you can drop off your bags earlier in the day, get your boarding passes and then kick back in the room till you have to go to the gate (ask them for a later check out time-they are pretty accommodating).
so you too are a "fox"? small world...my dh's family is entrenched in working in the medical profession-but i think a lot of that comes from their association with the seventh day adventist church-big time medical colleges!
in fact my bil switched from being a surgical nursing supervisor at a SDA hospital to a regular "we got unions" hospital about a year ago:what a wake up call for him! he never had to deal with employees with union representation before, his first day on the job the hospital did a lock out on their nurses
just want to offer as well, since we have a rental car and will be staying in the port the night before-if you need any last minute items dropped off at ron juan's desk for you let me know (before i leave i can pm you our cell phone number).
so princesshaylet'smom-any news on the shuttle? thank you for the offer and the efforts you've put forth on this.
