So it looks like most of you have your cruise doc and I would love ours but because of distance etc we won’t get them till be arrive at our WDW hotel a few days before we sail.

I am dying to know what’s you get ………..

It's really no big deal. You get the luggage tags - just colored sticky tags with your stateroom number, nothing exciting, onboard airline check-in slips and DCL transportation slips. As we are doing everything ourselves, we threw out everything but the luggage tags. The only reason I get excited is because it means that the cruise is almost here!!!!

If Disney is providing the transportation then the ship has to wait for them to get you there. I am just worried for you if there is some problem with the airplane getting to the airport on time to get the bus. I'm surprised Disney is cutting it that close, too.

My DH and I have the same concerns and we will be contacting them shortly

While I was sitting in the waiting room waiting for my girls to finish their dental cleanings I was reading a Readers Digest article that stated that eating blueberries, spinach, broccoli and onions all help you to not get the flu. Especially red onions which had the most of the thing that helped your immune system. Thought this was cool and thought I would share.

Has anybody done this excursion, which we would be on your own? How does it compare to the excursion with disney to the beach right next door? I"m just trying to decide if it would be better to do this one?

Nope, born in the US. My father's half-brother, his half-sister, and her family are the only relatives we have in Canada. I believe my uncle has been living in NB since before I was born ... over 38 years!!

Nessa - Is the FE list closed? Are we good with the list you sent earlier in the week or did other people join? I just want to finalize everything and start packing. The cruise is just around the corner.

Oh, and everyone participating - don't forget to bring zip ties to secure your FE to your fish. We don't want any of them walking away.

We LOVE Paradise Beach. We've gone there twice and are planning to go back on this sailing. Good food, cheap beer, lots of beach toys, great service. Just a fun fun place.

His name is Jim Alderton.

Hubby and I are from Illinois however for nearly three years now he's been living in California. I'm hoping to eventually get out there in the next couple of years once the housing market turns around and we sell our house.

Steph has been collecting pirate garb for us all (no good sales where I live ) and I've been thinking hard about packing (I hope that thinking makes it done--hasn't worked yet )

Jen - Not to rub it in or anything - but we're packed!
Only thing that needs packing are the dress clothes that need to be shoved into the suit bag, cameras and toiletries! I'm so excited that I needed to do something. Now I need to stare at the bags for the next 2.5 weeks.

I took my little walk. It's beautiful outside but once I got into the store I didn't want to leave.

Christmas music is playing. The decorations are up. And I was in 7th heaven. I had to remind myself not to buy anything. It was very difficult. The family is coming into the city on Sunday and I'm going to take them there. I don't think I'll be able to get DD out of the store without buying something. I know I had a hard time. Dangling all that stuff in the face of a 9 yo is just mean. So I'll cave and buy her a little something to tide her over. I'm such a good mom.

I'm jealous. I even wish we had our lil Disney Store in the mall--it closed last year...so sad!

Like Jen said--I GOT PIRATE STUFF!!!!! I'm so excited at the deals I got. If you have a Target near you...RUN...don't walk...Their Halloween stuff is 90% off. Practically free! I did have to work a bit because lots of costumes were missing pieces...but for 5.00 bucks I got: Me a costume, a dress--looks like a pirate wench (regularly 24.99). The baby a pirate dress, Cohen a shirt with vest, stripped pirate pants, a belt with scull crossbones, and a head piece wrap thingy. PLUS...some brown pants, boots....miscl. stuff. THEN...I went back and got Jen the same costume as me, a dress costume for Belle, another piratey costume, pants, belt, shirt...and a few other miscl. for 8 bucks. REALLY awesome. Plus I got pirate hat/scarf/eye patch sets for ONE dollar at the $ store. Can you tell I'm excited about the bargin???

Now all I need is to kick this sinus infection...and I'm ready to pack.
