Somebody make him stop!!! Must work. Must accomplish something. Must be good employee.

What's up with this? :dog2: :pug: :dog: :paw:

No distractions. Back to work. Must go. Must make tracks. :paw: :paw: :paw:

*blowing yummy smelling snackie smells from the closet* come and play with ussssssss....commmmmmmmmeeeeee to the closetttttttttttt

ack - now I am hungry! lol

hahaha @ girl stuff - I have 3 guys that I work for, 2 of which are really retired, but I do billed, tax prep, etc for them and one asked me yesterday how long I would be out when I had the baby (he wasn't here for the last two) and said "Two to three weeks?" :rotfl: :rotfl2: ummm NO. I will come in once a week or so after I am released to do so, and I will be back in 6-8 weeks depending on how things go and the fact that I have a ressie at SSR for Dec 4-9th :rolleyes1

Can you tell this man has no children? Especially female children. Two to three weeks!!! Especially with a c-section! goofy! (but he is sweet - so I have to forgive his lapses in common sense! lol)

TGIF!!! And no little boys tonight so I actually get to go out to dinner with adults only!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc I wonder if hubby will notice if I slip up and order his something off the kids menu without thinking :earboy2: :smooth:

Come on Laura. You're tough, right? ;)

Not doing so well today. Got to get back. I lose sleep over what I need to do and then get here and have no desire to do it. I start to think tha these boards are eveil, but then I think" How could a world filled with such wonderful things be bad?"

Name that movie.

I am Sheera baby!!!

But I am also aware that coming back to work is not something I will be looking forward to. Having her so near year end was CRAZY lol but that is how it worked out. At least I can do some things from home (which will "extend" my time off).

OK, you conned me in to being bad again today, but where is everyone. Is this pay-back for lllovell's lonely day? Where's Mar? Has Rash recovered from the ear infection yet. Still not sure if it's him or a child who got it. WHere is SOF? Shall I start singing again? :guilty:

Please someone, anyone, give me a poem, a lyric, afunny story. Help!

Help!
I need somebody.
Help!
I'll take anybody!
You know I need someone.
Help!

When I was motivated so much better than today.
I never needed anybody's help in any way.
But now this day has come, I'm getting very bored.
Now I find, I changed my mine please open closet door.

Help me if you can I'm feeling down.
And I would appreciate your clownin' round.
Help me 'til I can start back homeward bound.
Won't you please, please help me?

Help me, help me.

Can't say I didn't warn ya'.

Thanks! I needed that!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

My company had an outing at a local amusement park a few weeks ago. It has a water park connected to. The VPs wife told me how she has it all together for doing this park. She goes to the water park before it opens. Puts towels on 5 or 6 chairs.....

All I could think of was the flames she would receive here! :earboy2:

I feel your pain so badly Carrie! I don't want to work and have checked in a bunch, but I am also trying not to hijack this thread over and over again lol

Anyone have big plans for the weekend?

TW1 - omg...talk about wall to wall people! no thanks!

Lets see - I have some internet psuedo friends in town and they wanted to do dinner tonight (don't really know them that well, but don't mind a quick dinner when someone is in town...lets just say I talk to you guys WAY more) and asked them shat they wanted to eat for dinner (their hotel has NOTHING around it) and was told "nothing fancy" - no italian or french...you know - not McDonalds - don't like McDonalds" :earseek: I am trying to find a sports bar in the area and hoping like hell that isn't "too fancy" (me - I was wanting fondue...I am CRAVING cheese fondue...asked Dr. and she said fine - the alcohol would be cooked out of the wine...one of those meals you can't do with kiddlets because of hot grease, hot burners, etc....but guess I will just have to make some myself at home!)

Tomorrow I will sleep in since the boys are staying with my aunt (gotta love family that WANTS your children to spend the night)....the going to buy lots of birthday presents as we have my birthday, my aunts, my cousins, my brother-in-laws and my sisters all to celebrate on Sat night (July and Aug birthdays) then going to said Aunt and Uncle's house to do the birthday party and get the younguns!

Sunday...ummm birthday party for a friend of oldest from 3-5 so I think I might take the young one to the movies. Otherwise - resting

So what are you all doing?

I wondered about Rash's ear infection as well...certainly hoping the sick party is feeling much much better!

The S.O.F. is probably out stalking Tooneric with pink poodles....

Mar has been around - so I am sure she will pop in here and there :)

btw Carrie - I feel like I should know that quote, but I can't get it to come to me today :(

What is it?

My parents are in town. It's Coast Guard Festival here. That means parade/craft show during the day tomorrow and incredible fireworks at night. I'll be one tired puppy Sunday. DH is heading to his folks Sunday. 6 hrs of driving for a 2-hour visit. I said "No way. Just can't so that." besides, I'd have to kick my parents out early. No, thank you. They get slighted by dh's family enough. (DId I write that rant out loud? Sorry.) Sunday afternoon will be spent doing laundry and invitations for SIL's baby shower.

It should be a good weekend all in all, though!

Taking DS fishing Saturday morning, promised to finish Half-Blood Prince with DD and going to the rodeo Sat. night   Don't worry Rash, the horseys usually do come out ahead at these things. Anyway, its really just an excuse to go eat funnel cake and french..err freedom fries. Yee ha!

mmmmmmm... funnel cake. Any word on that deep fryer for the closet?

ugh - 6 hours for a 2 hour visit...I don't care if they are the most wonderful people, that is a long trip for a short turn around!

I don't blame you for not wanting to go AND for not wanting to kick your parents out!

I would love to do some carnival/festivals...but I am zapped this summer - just have to do twice as much next summer to make up for it! :)

I was just thinking the SAME THING! lol but watch out Tw1 - if its windy at all, funnel cakes with powdered sugar on them can be quite entertaining! :P Every year at the FSU games, we always see someone getting it right in the face (luckily - how bad can a cloud of powdered sugar be :) )

Are you going as a participant or an audience member to that rodeo? (I have been forbidden to buy HBP, so I must be getting a copy this weekend - maybe that is what I will do with my down time on Sunday :cheer2: I love reading.) BTW how old is your DD? My son, who is 5 is quite taken with Harry Potter and I am going to try reading the first book with him to see if he can handle a story without pictures yet. *smile*

I belive that line is followed by:

"Look at this stuff
Isn't it neat.
Wouldn't you think I'm the girl
the girl who has everything."

Does that help?

So I can put you down for Coast Guard next year? ;)

My dh was late fo rwork the other day, because he was reading HBP! I think we may have an extra copy. Shall I send it your way?

Yes ma'am! That helps out so much! If you asked Richard (my 3.5 year old) he would tell you that Ariel is his girlfriend...when ever he sees a picture of her - that is what he says! I see redheads in his future :earboy2: (I have bought him a copy of the Little Mermaid for his stocking for Christmas...its burning a hole in my pocket though lol he might end up getting it sooner for some mommy/Richard time after PJ comes if I think he needs it)

I would love to do the Coast Guard Festival. Things like that are just sooooo Americana to me and so enjoyable. (kinda like WDW :goodvibes )

If I don't get a copy of HBP for my birthday, I might hit you up for one of those, but I bet I will be 1/2 done by Monday :smooth:

Well, time to head out. Thanks for helping the last few minutes go by!!!

Have a fun weekend all!

Laura - Just in case you haven't figured it out, it's Little Mermaid. Wouldn't want to leave you haning over the weekend!

Ooops, crossed posts. I'd love to see Richard id'ing LM LM as his gf! :rotfl:
