Nothing Thread

lol - but Evan can't read yet! :earboy2:

Anyone want a 3 year old cheap? This one is giving me fits this am with the *no...no...no...ok (ignoring me)...ok (ignoring me some more....SCREAMING HISSY FIT when his butt gets popped* You know - typical behavior lol

Toon, it was the horn looking things (and skin tone) that gave it away to me lol She is a rather humerous representation of her true self. (the 3 year old who is trying to make nice now just said HEYYYYYYYYY A WITCHHHHHHH so she is different things to different people I suppose!)

My night alone was not all that long. I worked too late, got to enjoy a bit of the Braves game alone, then the boys and I watched the rest together while huddled up in the bed. (I kinda liked the last part best!)

Back to the house cleaning I suppose! Going through the boy's baby clothes today to see what is non-gender specific. Luckily, for pjs and onesies it doesn't matter to me, so I know we have TONS of stuff we can once again reuse! (I sure hope my sister that is due in January is having a boy lol I have tons of clothes I need to give away!)

Welcome home to the Rash family! I bet your cocker will give you more "issues" than your older one :flower: They probably want to help which will be the challange - finding things that the older one can do. My 5 year old is DYING for the baby to get here. He is very excited! (as I bet Evan's sibling is too!) I am sure both you and Mrs. Rash are VERY glad to be home. I got out of the hospital as soon as possible with my other ones because its NOT a place to get rest! awwwww Just had an image of the baby napping on your chest....man - I can't wait! :cloud9:

Have a good trip tooneric! Watch out for pink poodles and the Secretary of Fun.

Oh, and if you have too much time on your hands (like me this morning) there's a simple message encoded in my first paragraph for our newest DIS family addition. Well, gotta get back to doing nothing all day!

I just found someone who wanted my 4 nights at BWV in October...I was so excited to get a Boardwalk View!!!!. How long does the Food and Wine go on...maybe I can sneak a little time in after I get back from the cruise. Otherwise, does anyone know what happens to an annual pass, purchased in May, if we don't activate it within a certain time period...like end of year?????

Yes, Llovell...that image of newborns sleeping on our chest (or ****s if we are the mommy!) just takes my breath away. If I had it to do over, I think I would have had more than one!

I am running amuck and amud trying to get my irrigation system to stay primed. I've been learning MORE than I ever wanted to know about irrigating 3 acres with a pump, a motor, a retention pond and a pretty hinky pipe system....I keep finding air and water leaks. But sheesh...this work is getting in the way of my TENNIS! And perusing the disboards. So,I am off once again. Will try not to drown this time, tho I am having dizzy spells just short of blacking out. If you don't hear from me in a time....the pond scum got me!

Baby's sleeping, DD's sleeping, DW's sleeping, and I'm .... on the Dis boards. What have I become? Nighty night...

and right when you finally gave in and went to bed....which one woke up? lol

Finished going through the clothes - and we have PLENTY. Just have to toss in a few girlie dresses and such and we are set :) Its nice to know most of what we already had will be just fine (as far as first year clothes - after that - I am sure it will get more boyish) We did have to keep out 4 Braves outfits :rolleyes1 which I were told weren't girlish and 8 or 9 FSU things (which I just laughed about - I am deeply shocked she doesn't already have a little cheerleading outfit in the closet :cheer2: - hubby it sn FSU nut! Someone needs to go to the games with him this year since I can't :( any one interested?)

I decided to keep my 3 year old. He kissed the baby today (my tummy) which melted me. Lucky little stinker :p

Have a wonderful Sunday everyone!

Let's just say mine prefer Dad's chest since its not so "lumpy" lol

I can't wait!

Goodness CB - that sounds like a LOT of work. Is this just for your yard or did I miss something? Tennis sounds MUCH better lol

Geez, this was a busy board this weekend! Lots of new threads and too many posts. I guess I'll have to revisit the "What do you do" and "What is your Board name mean" threads again.

Wonderful camping weekend at our favorite roadside attraction - Knoebels - a really quirky family run amusement park in deep central PA.

Cut out of work early Friday, drove like a crazy man up the turnpike, cut west for another hour made it by 6pm. Friday night is Bargain night, $7 for unlimited rides till 10:30. Well worth it. DD11 kept track of how much individual rides would have cost and let us all know when we broke even.

This place has my second favorite carousel where you grap the brass rings as you go around. It's the second longest line in the park. No line on the log flume, which is a really good log flume all thigs considered. One of their coasters - the Phoneix - is a real blast. Has the distinction of being the first wooden coaster actually dismantled (in CA) and moved. I think it made it better cause it rocks and sways like crazy.

Anyway - campground way too crowded so we bagged our second day and headed back east for Delaware Water Gap National Park. Got a site right on the river and spent all day Sat and Sun floating in the Delaware, fishing, skipping stones, making 'smores, swatting flies, laid out and saw shooting stars Sat. night (not something the light pollution at home lets us do,) eating junk food, and keeping dry.

Oh yeah, forgot to pack the Yenglings, so it was a bit too dry.

Woke up this morning to a five foot mound of dirty, smokey clothes, no bread to make lunches for the kids, milk just a bit too sour but manageable, and with a big smile. Ahh, how weekends like this make the office tolerable.

Bon voyage Toon. Do the Indy ride for me please and safe travels.

Hoping Rash and family are doing well and the cocker is not acting like the forgotten middle child.

Plum? Hmm, gotta get some of those today. Too bad I can't do the kitchen thing well, cause one of my favorite foods in the world is zwetchken knödel (plum dumplings!)

It sounds like you had a blast TW1!! We used to take lots of camping trips when we were kids and I can't wait to introduce my children to the great outdoors in this way. (Gotta get the baby to be out of diapers before I would even consider it though). Hubby will probably stay down the road at the Holiday Inn  My dad's parents both worked for different branches of the state here when I was growing up. My grandmother worked at Vogel STate Park in the North GA mountains and my grandfather ran a several different state park facilities while I was coming along - including one that was a post on the Appalachian trail. I got to go up for a few summers and work with him there and LOVED it! It had a mixture of tourist and hikers walking the trail so there were always interesting people around.

I love wooden coasters! I have heard both good and bad about the park you mentioned, but maybe one day we will get a chance to check it out!

Goodness *big yawn* how can it be Monday? :earseek:

hahahahah @ Plum being the word of the week - its also a magazine for moms-to-be over 35

Hiking the entire AT from GA to ME, straight through, is one of DW's and mine life long ambitions. We've done most of PA and half of NH, but doing the whole enchilada is our dream. We warned the kids that hey may be doing it with us, as pack mules :rotfl2:

I've heard the GA sections are spectacular!

hahahah - I knew there were reasons for having children! Hubby is not an outdoors type, so I have to work on that one. Hoping some of my youngsters are :) (like Disney, if the kids are having fun, he comes along without much grumbling even if he is not the biggest fan - but I think I finally got him loving WDW :maleficen so maybe there is hope)

:grouphug: for those of you who have non Disney-loving spouses. My heart goes out toyou!

TW1 - Glad you had a good trip!

Toon - Say hi to SOF for us and havea great time!

PLUM!

I married a Dis-nut, and quickly eclipsed her love of the Mouse!

I am also very fortunate that my DH enjoys Disney as well. I was talking to my friends daughter the other day and mentioned that they should try to go to WDW with us sometime. She said: "We've been to Disneyland twice, so that's probably enough". Huh?

lol I would have never thought I was a Disney nut until about a year and a 1/2 ago...so who knew :teeth: I have always loved the movies and other Disney related things, but actually heading down to the parks in October 2003, I found myself INSTANTLY in love with everything about WDW!

Hubby knows we will do specific vacations for his tastes as well, so we balance out well. Last Thanksgiving, the boys, M-i-L and I headed to the parks while he drove to Daytona daily for the Turkey Rod Run (big ole carshow that I have attended MANY years running with him) and then we would meet up for dinner. Worked like a charm

The only problem is now I have the beach (specifically St. George Island in FLA) and WDW and he has car show trips....but - the wonderful DVC trips seem to be spoiling him ;) so hopefully it will all balance out in the end!

Awwwwww, you were only 4 miles from my office. Route 80 NJ Milemarker 4!

I could have given you those 'extra' DVC points!

Hey, is it me in my old age, or is that part of the world getting SOOO over-crowded. We sat in traffic in Milford that I'd never witnessed before. Anyway, yes the rain curse is over, awesome weather.

Now, about those points...

Where is the S.O.F.? I don't remember him asking for time off?

Mike and Tooneric are out of town and Rash has baby Evan to deal with - are they the only ones besides me with the gift of gab?

:earseek: Am I gabbing too much?

WE NEED SOME NOISE AROUND HERE!!!!

*going to the closet for some ice cream and pouting* HA!
