Not docking & excursions

Okay ... let's say you can't dock at one of your ports ... does Disney refund the normally nonrefundable excursion costs since you couldn't dock & do your excursion(s)?

Yes they refund you if it was an excursion booked through Disney.

It looks from your post that you were planning on booking your own excursion, not thru Disney. Disney will only reimburse you if it was a Disney booked excursion. Some outside companies will not charge you if your ship does not dock, but I believe many of them do. I think Captain Marvin's doesn't but I don't remember. I would check with the companies you book thru and ask them that before you give them payment info.
