Penny and I just signed up for this cruise. We were going to wait and see what sort of price we could get while on our April 2009 Tortola cruise, but were concerned that the price might go up/ship fills up.

This looks like a lively group; of course with Eva and CustardTart how could it not be.

Getting excited as Saturday starts our annual Thanksgiving at the Beach. We rent a beach house on the Outer Banks, NC and invite all the kids (and more importantly the granddaughters) for a week at the beach. One of our favorite times of the year.

I told Richard this evening when we were out celebrating his birthday and he is absoflaminlutely delighted you guys are on board!!!

Same thing here! We took our sweet little granddaughter out for dinner last night. She is turning 3 on Tuesday! I told Steve about Bob and Penny joining us on the cruise and he said, "Looks like we have our tablemates already!" Maybe we will need to look into a private tour at one of the ports. Oh, and maybe a tasting too!

I'm feeling somewhat sorry for myself today! I injured an Achilles tendon a couple of weeks ago, didn't taken it seriously and now I'm paying. It seemed OK earlier in the week then yesterday I forcefully pressed in the footbrake when parking at the gym and I felt a definite 'ping'! OUCH - not good... We went out in the evening and in heels I didn't feel any pain whatsoever! BUT when I awoke this morning, it was very painful and my calf muscle seemed to be in spasm!!! YAWN!!!

Cold, cold & cold! Dh will be decorating the outside of the house today for Christmas. We won't turn the lights on yet but since we are out of town next weekend they will be ready to go when we get back. Some of the people in our neighborhood put their lights out the 1st week of Nov and turned them on. And I thought I was early!

To those of you leaving for Thanksgiving I hope you have a safe trip.

I'm on the sofa with my leg elevated and plan on moving as little as possible for the rest of the day. I have some strong anti-inflammatory painkillers to take so I'm hoping to see some improvement over the weekend...

Good Morning Cruisers, again had to catch up because I missed a few days!

Hi Lynn, I am guessing I am going to have a hard time keeping on my reading too. As for the "Lifeboat Crew" We were stuck in the lifeboats for a Cat8 GTY for the WB PC "Ship of Thieves" up to the 30 days prior. Then we got upgraded to a Cat5 Varandah. If I could I would do the same again, but I opted to take a room on the 2nd deck this trip.

Look forward to chatting more in the future, bed is calling me again.

We were in the lifeboat suite for quite a while on a couple of our cruises! This time we will be on deck 5 in a cat 10.

We will be putting up outside Christmas lights today also, it is supposed to be nice today, and I am not sure what Thanksgiving weekend will have in store!

I hope your achilles tendon is a minor issue, do get it looked after, don't injure it any more, it can be a rather long recovery, the director of my division snapped his a year ago during our PT testing, ended up having to have surgery, it was a very long recovery, I hope yours is very very minor.

Christmas lights go up today if the wind dosn't get any worse 15 MPH now.
