What kind of non-traditional pizza do you like? Something other that the usual tomato sauce, mozzarella and pepperoni type. I want to make pizza for dinner tonight, but I don't want the same-old-same-old.

Last night I made my favorite - goat cheese, spinich, and calamata olives.
That sounds good! DH and DS probably wouldn't go for it though. I'm going to remember it for when I do individual pizzas.

A white pizza is my favorite. Nothing but mozz and rocotta, but you can add toppings if you like.
I've always wanted to make that. Do you make your own? Does anything else go on it besides the cheese? Garlic or anything?

My kids love ham and pineapple. You could sub Canadian bacon for the ham, but the same idea.

Taco or Mexican Pizza:) They used to have these in regional Pizza Huts. Dunno how to make them but they are delicious. The crust is typically thin/crispy with taco ingredients as toppings.

This will sound strange but we like Lasagna Pizza. Just make Lasagna on a pizza crust (deep dish) and it's really good.

My favorite is also a white pizza: chicken and broccoli drizzled with a little bit of cream sauce with lemon. YUMMY!!

BBQ chicken or buffalo chicken
Goat cheese, chicken, bacon, and leeks-add some red pepper flakes
Med pizza- feta, kalamata olives, etc.

this one is so worth the calories..lol..we got it off the Pillsbury site..and I have made it 2x...we just love it....

Loaded Baked Potato Pizza
1 can (11 oz) Pillsbury® refrigerated thin pizza crust
6 slices (1 oz each) provolone cheese
2 cups cubed unpeeled baked potato (about 1 large)
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons ranch dressing and seasoning mix (from 1-oz milk recipe package)
8 strips crisply cooked bacon, chopped
1 cup shredded mild Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
1/4 cup sliced green onions (4 medium), if desired
Sour cream, if desired

DIRECTIONS
1. Heat oven to 400°F. Spray or grease 15x10-inch or larger dark or nonstick cookie sheet. Unroll dough on cookie sheet; starting at center, press dough into 15x10-inch rectangle.
2. Arrange provolone cheese slices on dough. In medium bowl, mix potato, olive oil and ranch dressing mix. Spoon evenly over cheese. Sprinkle with bacon and Cheddar cheese.
3. Bake 13 to 16 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted. Sprinkle with onions. Serve with sour cream.

I once made a seafood pizza - sounds weird, but I used regular spaghetti sauce, shrimp, "krab," and "lobster delights," and mozzarella. Actually came out really good!

There's a pizza place here that makes a wonderful Greek pizza - no sauce, olive oil, mozzarella and feta cheese, hamburg, onions, tomatoes, and black olives.

I like grilled chicken with onions and green peppers. Someone, Domino's I think has the Philly steak pizza, that sounds good too.

I just bought the ingredients today to make what we call "Bubble Up Pizza":
2 containers refrigerated biscuits (not buttermilk)
1 jar pizza sauce
2 cups mozzarella cheese
Any Pizza spices you like (garlic, red pepper, salt and pepper, etc.)

Then whatever toppings you like. For mine this week, I'm doing ground beef, onions and a can of mushrooms. But, I have done pepperoni, veggies, etc.

I cut the biscuits into 4ths and put them in a bowl and mix with rest of the ingredients, making sure that the biscuits are well coated by the liquid. I spray a glass baking dish with non-stick spray, dump the mixture in, and cook at the recommended temp for the biscuits for twice the recommended time.

It's a hit every time!

All the ingredients go in at one time, even the "toppings"? Do you put any cheese on the top?

Sounds like something cheap and easy.

We used to LOVE Mexican Pizza from Pizza Hut. I think it had taco sauce on the crust and then in layers: taco seasoned ground beef, refried beans, lettuce, tomato and then cheddar cheese. The cheese wasn't melted. Hmmmm. Sounds like something to go on next weeks menu.

I just made some last night with Kraft's Italian 5 cheese blend and then added chopped up prosciutto and crumbled Havarti cheese on top. Came out wonderfully!

We had a friend bring over Mexican pizza last week, I thought no one will eat this but it was a big ol hit!
reg pizza crust, topped with salsa then seasoned ground beef, shredded cheddar cheese and black olives. We put shredded lettuce on top when it came out of the oven and we didn't have sour cream so I just drizzled on ranch. Very yummy!

My favorite is an onion pie. You dice onions very small along with some minced garlic. Marinate it in some olive oil before putting it on the dough. Sprinkle some grated cheese, salt pepper and bake.

I occasionally make this. Crab, shrimp, and I mix a little pesto sauce in with the regular pizza sauce. Quite delicious!!!!!
