The only people who would possibly confuse the two smells are people who have lost their sense of smell or one of those smokers who mistakenly believes they don't stink.

Clearly you missed the humor in the post and it went right over your head that I was poking at myself....but thankfully you were right there to do it for meAnd yet you keep commenting???
That's not how allergies work...the poster was pointing out that all the comments about how the DSA's are messing with everyone's allergies but no one complains about two of the worst culprits. So yes, in the sense he used the comparison it does have something to do with it.

It is indeed hard to outrun the fork. For someone 110lbs they burn about 65 calories a mile, that's not really that many extra calories when you consider all the treats and the PORTIONS at WDW. It seems like it should be so many more, right?
Yeah, I've never heard of anyone confusing outdoor cooking smells with a cigarette.
Mmm, is that a jumbo turkey leg cooking? Oh no wait, it's the DSA! Is someone grilling up some burgers? Oh no, that's the ashtray!

Oh for pete's sakes. Of course no one confuses the turkey leg with a DSA. That would be ridiculous.
A fire used for cooking can make smoke. Someone burning food can make smoke. Food that for whatever reason doesn't smell good can smell like smoke.
Sweetie? I don't have an issue discussing topics with you. That is if you don't try to patronize meIt didn't "go over my head".
Sweetie, I have allergies; I am well aware of how they work. My step grandson has Cystic Fibrous and I am well aware how THAT works. My niece's son has asthma and I am well aware how THAT works. Want to try again?
But then also imagine all the unintended consequences. All those who work in the industry who are now unemployed. All the excess health care workers who no longer are needed because smoking related diseases end. It would devastate the economy. If folks didn’t smoke, imagine how much more money they would have for retirement. Mind blown.

Was typed in a satirical tone. Trying to highlight that there rarely is an easy answer, there rarely is a black and white yes or no correct or incorrect answer either. We have the opioid crisis now. No shortage of folks prematurely dying to keep healthcare workers employed.
Next you’re going to say we need more wars, so that we can keep more military folks employed. World peace would totally devastate our defense spending budget.

We know it is bad but we also live in a society where people have conflicting rights and those have to be balanced.Yes, there is. Second hand smoke is bad. We know this. There is no grey area. It’s like climate change. We know it’s happening. It’s also like the earth is round. We know this too. There is no grey area for any of these.

No more than they will admit that that smell they thought was smoke just might not have been a cigarette but something cooking. (not that it makes it ok but not the same thing either).
