Well beware, because not all airlines have phased them out yet. They probably have to use all the stock they have so it doesn't look like they are wasting paper Have you also noticed how everyone miraculously manages to have lost their pens by the time they are handed out too? All of a sudden you have a few hundred folk trying to take turns with 10 pens.

Well, I hope I won't have to use up MY spare stock as I have literally hundreds of the things. I always pick up a handful when we check in because I know I'm goping to mess them up. I've got loads in my holiday folder

I have indeed noticed the pen situation!
I also hate the 'pfff' look I see on the cabin crews faces when I tell them I've messed up and need a new forum

They should let you practise in pencil first! The pen story still wins for me though. I once witnessed an man across the aisle using his from his flight pack to scratch or clean his ears with it. So OBVIOUSLY when he tried to write with it the darn thing wasn't going to work. He asked to use mine when I was done and I obliged but when he tried to give it back I told him to keep it It was hard not to recommend a tub of Johnson & Johnson ear buds, but I managed to bite my tongue.

On the topic of forms, I have never done the API online. There are only 2 questions on the VA website, but the answers are so cryptic I still haven't filled it in.

Just completed our ESTA for our trip in a few weeks.... Phew....
Much better than those awful green forms!!!!

Try being the mug that everyone and their dog hands their green forms to with a pleading look on their faces because they are so busy watching the movie/listening to their i pods/playing on their DS's etc etc. Like the silly idiot I am I sit for ours fillling in those green pests while all around me are enjoying themselves LOL!
