I'm new to all this information on magic bands and FP reservations. Are there still FP kiosks in the park? Is making a FP reservation on magic bands the only way to have a FP?

:confused3

There are no more FP kiosks in the parks. Everything is via MDE and Magic Bands or RFID ticket media.

You book your original 3 FP using MDE, and can get additional FP's after those three expire or are used at a kiosk within the park. They don't have the kiosks at the individual rides, but a few located around various areas for All rides within that park.

Thanks a bunch :)
I hope when we purchase our park pass upon arrival at the resort its not too late to get FP reservations :worried:

Correct, although FP+ reservations aren't tied to a MB but rather to a person's MDE account and can be accessed via a MB or park ticket. The paper FP machines have all been removed and what you'll find now are in-park kiosks and cast members manned with iPads to assist guests in making their initial or additional FP+ selections.

If you're staying at a Disney resort you're able to book FP+ 60 days in advance of your check-in date and those initial 3 must be within the same park. After those 3 are used/expired you can make a 4th selection, after the 4th a 5th, and so on. Those additional FP+ can be for the park you're in or the one you're hopping to but you can't book an Epcot FP+ while in MK, etc. EP and DHS also have a tiered system where guests can pick one Tier 1 attraction and two Tier 2's.

It won't be, but it probably will be to get the better tier one attractions. If you are lucky, best bet, you can can get a top attraction but a return later at night

Thanks a bunch, I'm starting to understand all this new information.
Will I need FP during extra magic hours?
