I'm totally in. I did this for the first time in March and did pretty well. I didn't join in April & May because they were serious spending months. I need to pipe down in June :P My husband started a new job and is away for 6 weeks (we're halfway there) so because of his new income and adjusting, I don't have a set budget for gas/groceries/food or anything like that, but I need to spend less and the no buy thread really helps with that since I like those no buy days No goals, just will account for what I spend!

1 - $0

2 - $0
3 -$5.37 eating out, $22.08 groceries
4 - $0
5 - $4.26 groceries
6 - $3.98 misc (newspapers)
7 - $25.01 gas
8 - $3.17 eating out, $10.93 misc (CVS, total was over $66 before coupons! I earned $16 in ECB) $36.24 (gifts)
9 – $3.39 eating out, $18.60 misc (stamps)

Thank you Figaro! Your coupon savings is really impressive!

I keep track of the coupon savings to see if it is worth the work and time to coupon. So far it is.

In May I spent $168 less in groceries/cleaning supplies etc. than I did in April. If I can do it again in June , I'm going to open an ING account and put $100 a month in it so I can save to go see DD in Japan. I want to make sure I can keep doing it before I commit to it.

Maybe just maybe I can go to Disney in Toyko. :-)

MissBritt! Holy cow on the pet meds! I hope the poor dog (cat?) is going to be alright.

That would blow my budget right out of the water. I understand tho. My brother spent over $1000 to have a rubber ball removed from his dogs stomach. Dog surgery is not cheap. And dogs have always been part of our family.

I made this as a New Year's Resolution so after this month I will be half way to doing a whole year resolution and while this is the best I have ever done at one, I am excited to think I might do one for the whole year! That would be something! My goal is to surpass my normal goal of 15 No Spend Days.

June 1-
$4.50 Kids bought lunch (We got in too late from vacation to grocery shop)
$1.08 Redbox
$20.00 Gas
$114.94 Groceries
$5 DD11's end of year class trip
June 2-$0
June 3-$0 Took the kids to 2 Walgreen's for Silly Bandz but that is all we got and they used their own money.
June 4- Was a $0 day till hubby came home with "free" baseball game tickets. I debated, but it was a beautiful night and free glove night for kids and the girls had friends going so we went. There went the $0 day. We spent just under $30on dinner and parking. I am quoting Suze Orman right now, "People first, then money, then things." It was a nice family evening out so worth losing the day.
June 5- Taco Bell-$14.59 Michael’s (Scout stuff, Father’s Day gifts and frames) $45.76, $15.63 Dairy Queen with GS troop, $17 (added DD8 to the sleepover, her troop hates sleepover so I will probably never get here there otherwise so her sister invited her) $4 sleepover patches, $10 ornament (I like to collect these when we go places)
June 6- $7.81 McD’s breakfast on the way home, Sam’s (groceries, gifts, clothes, shampoo, 5 bottles of sunscreen, etc) $191.99 (I’ll say the $91.99 was groceries, roughly,) Snack at Sam’s $3.43 Wegman’s groceries $154.68 (that is what I get for bringing DH) Amazon order (right around) $30, 2 CDs for DH for Father’s Day and some Disney Silly Bandz
June 7-$0 Technically I won $7 in Silly Bandz off eBay, but the kids are paying for them so my OOP was $0
June 8-$0 Spent the day cooking and filling my naked freezer. I froze about 15 dinners so far and more are in the crock pot overnight and will be frozen in the morning. I usually do this every 6-8 weeks but it all seemed to go really fast this time since we have had so many busy nights.
June 9-$0
June 10-$0 DD11 was too tired to go out for ice cream (none of her friends were going either, and DH and I were going to sip away for a date but we too were both tired so we took a nap together instead and that was free!
