Whew!!! Soooo glad this week is about over- I taught bible school and we had 2 college kids staying with us for the week- so lots of cooking (and 1 dinner for 12 of the college bible school counselors:scared1:), and my kids ball games 3 nights- crazy, crazy:). I was too busy to shop for anything but a few groceries, but the week was such a blur I honestly can't remember what I spent each day, or if they were no spends (I think there were a few:confused3). So I'm going to just jump in again today - I figure that is better than just skipping the rest of the month, like I've done before;)! Tonight is date night w/ dh, but we're eating at home and going to our inexpensive small town theatre, so I'll report back tomorrow. Can't wait to catch up on the boards!

Charming23, what is the place like? I have never been there (obvious I guess since I live in NY, I was born in Cleveland but moved when I was one.)

Is it big? It didn't look that big online.

I have to start booking a hotel still, the kids are hoping for a pool (since they are upset they want to go to the concert too, but that is a lot of extra money.) The places they suggested on the website are pricey, I said we could buy then each tickets and sleep in the car before heading home for those prices. :rotfl: Who knew I'd be raising BonJovi fans. :confused3

Anyway, we are just sitting on the lawn. Since I have waited 20+ years I am just happy to hear him and a glimps would be great!!!

Have fun at your games and concert and if you change your mind and decide to sit in the grass, let me know we can try and say hello. If yo udo see me there though, don't tell here on the BB how much I paid for a tshirt cause I will be buying a tshirt! :goodvibes

I made this as a New Year's Resolution so after this month I will be half way to making it! My goal is to surpass my normal goal of 15 No Spend Days.

June 1-
$4.50 Kids bought lunch (We got in too late from vacation to grocery shop)
$1.08 Redbox
$20.00 Gas
$114.94 Groceries
$5 DD11's end of year class trip
June 2-$0
June 3-$0 Took the kids to 2 Walgreen's for Silly Bandz but that is all we got and they used their own money.
June 4- Was a $0 day till hubby came home with "free" baseball game tickets. I debated, but it was a beautiful night and free glove night for kids and the girls had friends going so we went. There went the $0 day. We spent just under $30on dinner and parking. I am quoting Suze Orman right now, "People first, then money, then things." It was a nice family evening out so worth losing the day.
June 5- Taco Bell-$14.59 Michael’s (Scout stuff, Father’s Day gifts and frames) $45.76, $15.63 Dairy Queen with GS troop, $17 (added DD8 to the sleepover, her troop hates sleepover so I will probably never get here there otherwise so her sister invited her) $4 sleepover patches, $10 ornament (I like to collect these when we go places)
June 6- $7.81 McD’s breakfast on the way home, Sam’s (groceries, gifts, clothes, shampoo, 5 bottles of sunscreen, etc) $191.99 (I’ll say the $91.99 was groceries, roughly,) Snack at Sam’s $3.43 Wegman’s groceries $154.68 (that is what I get for bringing DH) Amazon order (right around) $30, 2 CDs for DH for Father’s Day and some Disney Silly Bandz
June 7-$0 Technically I won $7 in Silly Bandz off eBay, but the kids are paying for them so my OOP was $0
June 8-$0 Spent the day cooking and filling my naked freezer. I froze about 15 dinners so far and more are in the crock pot overnight and will be frozen in the morning. I usually do this every 6-8 weeks but it all seemed to go really fast this time since we have had so many busy nights.
June 9-$0
June 10-$0
June 11- Streak Over. $3 bread and milk, $8 gummy spiders for DD11's Bronze Award presentation tomorrow, $34.98 gas, $5 (really $18 but we had $13 left on a gift card) lunch date with hubby <3 ,Walmart (pillows) $34 ish, have to find the receipt, $4 Silly Bandz (for a b-day gift, my kids have enough!) And finally $19 pizza night for the family.ETA- $72 Bon Jovi Tickets!!!!
June 12- Day out with the family (using all coupons!) $30.18 for lunch at Friendly's, a game of bowing and Slushies on the way home.

Blossom is a very nice venue. It is fairly big but easily manageable. The only suggestion I have is to get to the parking lot early as if fills up super fast and it is the only way to get decent parking. The lawn seats are very good and sometimes if the reglar seating does not fill up they let people with lawn seats move into the pavillion.

I am seriously thinking about going as my best friend will want to go to so I will let you know.

If I do see you dont worry about the rest of the BB finding out about you buying a tee as I plan on not telling when I buy myself an Adam Lambert tour tee ;)
