No AP Rates Today...Wednesday

I was assured by the CM that the Best Rate Program is not replacing the AP rates.....I smiled, said thank you, hung up and banged my head on the desk....

dont know if that is true or not, but lots of backtracking by disney bashers if it is true.

I do know that some of the consideration for going strickly to an online booking program for AP discounts was to cut down on the number of phone calls to CRO to check on the rates.

Please take that in to consideration. The checking might very well contribute to them not offering them the old way.

I just called to see if I could modify and get the Best Rate thing for a trip we booked in July for October 15-23. I told the CM that I couldn't use Best Rate at the time I booked because I wasn't 120 ddays out but at the time I booked I ws 60 days and now that they changed it I COULD have used the 60 day window then. She checked got back on the phone and told me there ws nothing she could do with this reservation now. She also told me that PASSHOLDER RATES may still become available....... Who do we believe???? I will go regardless but like I ask her Am I suppose to call everyday? What about us people who have jobs and can't call all the time to check this?? I guess all we can do is keep looking here and Disney's site to see what they decide to do next.

I think when people STOP calling is when Disney would get put out.

I have no problem with the new BR plan, well acouple, but nothing that I can't handle, but I am in the October Black Hole for rates and was assured, even promised by a CM who called me that AP rates would be out soon. that was 2 months ago. I ahve no problem with Disney changing the way they do things, I will use the BR plan when I can, and I will continue to spen thousands of my hard earned dollars at Disney every year....what I DO have a problem with is being lied to by a company that I have been loyal to for 25 years.....THAT upsets me and a whole lot of other Disney Fans.
