From Navigators on youtube from MV it looks like. a few options saw one night Adults Krazy Karaoke in Triton lounge it listed, then looked like WIsh Quest in Luna for Adults and also saw slient Disco in Luna the last night Adults onlyChecking in again to see if anyone has additional insight now that the ship has begun sailing. If anything I am more concerned! Reading the trip reports posted on another blog it looks like Luna is being used for shows only and I didn’t see any references to dancing for adults. The closest thing I have seen is the pirate deck party for all ages. Not feeling good about this……
There was really no DJ on board the MV…I didn’t make the silent disco but the space with a “dance “ floor in Luna is so small…but like I said before that seemed to be the trend on the Wishits reduced to silent discos?
Others should chime in but I didn't see a ton of Marvel theming.... The Marvel dining experience IMO wasn't up to snuff. Animators palate is better tech than they are using in the Marvel dining room. I think they missed a BIG opportunity to really show off some tech but honestly its just a video that plays. Talking with Crush is even better tech.....Oh man, that is disappointing... I'm really thinking of cancelling and choosing an older ship instead. That would be a shame... my daughter is a Marvel fanatic.
Agreed…I certainly wasn’t wowed by it…it was just watching screens and pressing a button that doesn’t do anything…it was also super loud so you couldn’t hear your servers or traveling companions…there was so much more potential…Others should chime in but I didn't see a ton of Marvel theming.... Interesting, I LOVED the Marvel show/videos. I thought it was a much better time than Crush!!Agreed…I certainly wasn’t wowed by it…it was just watching screens and pressing a button that doesn’t do anything…it was also super loud so you couldn’t hear your servers or traveling companions…there was so much more potential…
Well thats just embarrassing. There was really no DJ on board the MV…I didn’t make the silent disco but the space with a “dance “ floor in Luna is so small…but like I said before that seemed to be the trend on the Wish
Although I love the sentiment it wont make a difference. The ship is as it is and changing anything in it significantly will require dry dock. You can't magically make areas bigger without it and Disney wont invest in a dry dock for years.Well thats just embarrassing.
clearly they have designed this ship just for kids. which is weird given kids dont have money and kids can only come if they bring their parents. Parents need activities and space.
should adults start up a protest in the high end retailers to get that space converted to adult activity spaces?
Sorry you got COVID; however, I'm not entirely sure what COVID has to do with the design or size of venues. We are still in covid (which my daughter and I both caught on this cruise) so I am not sure what Disney is thinking. Dance floor was TINY. It seems like they added more bars but made them all smaller.
Like all the bars on the other ships, they are open for all until the evenings. Nightengale's has a piano. Dance club wise that I believe would be Luna. We'll probably not really know until an actual cruise happen.
When you saw the size of the venues and how tightly packed they were I think you would understand how easily Covid could be spread. The other ships have much better designs so that people are not on top of each other. Seeing that Covid is not going away anytime soon and people are catching it on ships, this should be taken into consideration when designing a new ship. Why go with something smaller for a ship that holds more people? Poor design which makes no sense.Sorry you got COVID; however, I'm not entirely sure what COVID has to do with the design or size of venues.
its reduced to silent discos?
I’m going to just explore when I cruise the WishWe disembarked the Wish yesterday morning after our first adults only cruise which was very different for us. For once, we did not attend many of the adult activities at night (which did appear to be extremely full) but rather visited the lounges and listened to live music or sat up at Currents bar and stared at the Tower Suite wondering when they would actually close their curtains, lol. We loved Keg & Compass, which was busy for activities, but emptied out quickly following them. Nightingales was lovely and reminded me of Pink on the Dream and not ever full that we saw, and the Bayou had some wonderful musical acts at night. The Rose has a beautiful view during the day and was open late into the night for a quieter space. We never visited Luna nor Triton's except to make our Hyperspace Lounge reservation the first day. The spaces were definitely smaller than on other ships, and Keg and Compass could look very crowded with the long, community style tables down the middle rather than 2-4 tops spread out. The booths were comfortable. We found plenty to do after dinner and closed down one lounge after the next one night. The Wish is definitely different than the other ships so we had fun exploring and enjoying the new spaces with an open mind.
