We just got back from Nick last week, I can really identify, we never stayed off Disney or Universal hotel, so I was very concerned too. First I have to say it's a decent hotel, Clean, nothing fancy, Rooms were good, we are use to Disney Deluxe hotels, so I wouldn't say up to that standard but ok. mini fridge/coffee pot, nice. The hotel it's self is awesome for kids, but a word of warning since you only have a 2year old. there are a TON of kids, and he might be a little small to do any of the slides alone, so be prepared to go up with him. The sides at the large pool don't let out into the pool, so he will be able to go down the slide alone but have someone on the other end to catch him, because this is the type of place, you can't blink when you are looking at kids, you'll lose them. That was really the only complaint I have about the place, way too many kids (which I expected) but having a littler one is difficult, because most just let them go and little ones can get knocked down or hurt.
IMO, I wouldn't take my 4 year old GS again until he was older. Feel free to PM or ask me anything else you would like to know about hotel, clean/reasonable place, just a little too crazy for me.
