Yea I just got the info from the WDWMAGIC Facebook page. The actual website doesn't work so the info is very generic. I apologize for any info that I was unable to clearly give, but I gave it my best and Rteetz is back to help!

The Kona Sushi Bar outside of the Kona Café is on the list to go down for some work during the Polynesian overhaul. No word on what they plan to do during the overhaul.

Disney is starting to look at more ways for guest to further plan their trips out. guest know that FP at Be Out Guest allows guest to pick their dinner choices down to the beverage. Disney is looking to really extend this to other eateries to help move people through faster, and to open up reservations to more people.

I kind of figured the BOG test was just the start of things to come. I can see Disney using this at all CS locations to further "enhance guest experience" lol!

I'm kind of confused about it though. I gather Disney is trying to increase revenue by doing more of these "hard ticket" events. but this one seems like it is actually a pretty good deal. I mean I'm not all like woohoo lets spend another $400 on F&W, but considering there is a $50 gift card that knocks the price down to $300. The entrance to the after hours thing, which is bringing my total down another $160 (I wouldn't have paid $79 each for this event on its own) And there are some other compensatory things that make this seem to be a kinda alright deal.

Regardless, thanks for keeping the information coming, now go back to doing the history of Disney thread, I'm Jonesing for for more info on that and you do an extraordinary job in that department

Hello everyone I have two things for you.

Tom Wolber, Senior Vice President, WDW Resort Operations and Transportation Operations, is leaving the position to take up the role of President of Euro Disney S.A.S., the management company of both Euro Disney S.C.A., the holding company, and Euro Disney Associés S.C.A., the operator of Disneyland Paris.

Current President of Euro Disney S.A.S., Philippe Gas is moving to General Manager of Shanghai Disney Resort. Tom Wolber will take up the new position in September 2014.

Kona Island at Disney's Polynesian Resort is closing from August 8 to September 30 2014, with an expected reopening to guests on October 1 2014.

Four Seasons Resort is now open. Very nice resort although a very big price tag. 600 bucks a pop!

Anyone have news on Tomorrowland Transit Authority (Peoplemover) refurb? There was some speculation that the reopening might be pushed back but the Disney website is showing it will be open tomorrow. Is that true? (Fingers crossed, I am 9 days out and this is my favorite attraction!)

The Astro Orbiter was pushed back a week longer but the Peoplemover was still supposed to be on schedule. I left on 7/31 and I could tell if it was ready or not, they were working on them because you could hear it and see a bunch of workers. They also are painting all of the green and blue to red and orange colors. The people mover cars will still be blue tho.
