But is it really even a ride?I never saw the cake castle in person but I like it in the pictures. I also don't mind the Stitch ride. Does that make me the best Disney fan or the worst Disney fan?

I tend to use the words "ride" and "attraction" as if they were interchangeable.
But is it really much of an attraction?![]()
See?
(I edited my post, before I saw your response.)
They would have gone together so well, the Wand and the Candy Castle. The only thing missing was a 1500 ft Sugar Plum Fairy.....

I'm harsh...
But I give them a pass on the castle... It was ridiculous...but it wasnt a terrible idea and it was temporary...it lacked "execution"
The problem with the hat is that they let it rot and it was one of the 3 biggest investments in the park since 1999. Think about that. A park that is constantly griped at for lacking attractions and not being finished.
Same with the wand over at EPCOT...
Temporary? Fine
Don't milk it.
The pink puff castle also pulls at my strings a little. Disney was proud of wdw back then and still eager to bring new things...similar with the 2000 event.
It's hasnt been since and they're in cruise control. Timeshares, price tinkering, add ons...and overhyped/underwhelming additions otherwise.
If you said "Stich's Great Escape is my favorite ride", then I would question your sanity.
Disney has announced that it has distributed 10 million magicbands

I agree. They also are reusable. Hence why they sell them in the parks as well.OK - I like the MB, but what a sales job. Maybe the fact they give them out to everyone on-site is the reason for their "popularity". We have 8 of them in a drawer and only three people in our family. By Disney Logic - I must love MBs cause I have so many!! What they SHOULD be marketing is the recycle of them. We were told by Disney that if you bring them back to WDW, they will recycle the material.
