I never saw the cake castle in person but I like it in the pictures. I also don't mind the Stitch ride.

Does that make me the best Disney fan or the worst Disney fan?

Maybe Disney's "Most Tastefully Challenged" Fan....? ;)

They would have gone together so well, the Wand and the Candy Castle. The only thing missing was a 1500 ft Sugar Plum Fairy.....

I'm harsh...

But I give them a pass on the castle... It was ridiculous...but it wasnt a terrible idea and it was temporary...it lacked "execution"

The problem with the hat is that they let it rot and it was one of the 3 biggest investments in the park since 1999. Think about that. A park that is constantly griped at for lacking attractions and not being finished.

Same with the wand over at EPCOT...
Temporary? Fine
Don't milk it.

The pink puff castle also pulls at my strings a little. Disney was proud of wdw back then and still eager to bring new things...similar with the 2000 event.

It's hasnt been since and they're in cruise control. Timeshares, price tinkering, add ons...and overhyped/underwhelming additions otherwise.

Well, my first trip with future DW was the Cake castle. Having never seen the castle before, she was sorely disappointed in the uglyness of it. To me it is the worst thing they ever did to the castle, but again it was only there for a short while so not that big a deal.

I don't know what to say about "I don't mind the Stitch ride". I guess I feel the same way. To say I hate it would imply some sort of caring one way or the other. So really, I don't mind it, but also I don't ride it.

If you said "Stich's Great Escape is my favorite ride", then I would question your sanity.

I hadn't been to MK since '90 (no kids at the time), but had been to Epcot, MGM, PI, TL etc., many times. You know - the things a late 20's to early mid '30s guy would do on vacation or while doing the corporate visit to DisneyCo thing.

Then I popped over for a day during the 25th. And I just couldn't stop asking why would they let Willy Wonka decorate the Castle for such an important event......?

It's not my favorite and it's not a "Must ride" for me but I do enjoy it. I think the animatronics are well done and I like 4D style attractions.

Disney has announced that it has distributed 10 million magicbands

OK - I like the MB, but what a sales job. Maybe the fact they give them out to everyone on-site is the reason for their "popularity". We have 8 of them in a drawer and only three people in our family. By Disney Logic - I must love MBs cause I have so many!!

What they SHOULD be marketing is the recycle of them. We were told by Disney that if you bring them back to WDW, they will recycle the material.

I agree. They also are reusable. Hence why they sell them in the parks as well.

Well, at least we know why they've been shipping so many:

Somebody must have had 10 mil shipped as a performance bonus kicker......;)

I agree, though. It's beyond hilarious that they're touting incredibly bad customer management that causes continual shipping of these things to us as an important milestone

That's PR - lemons into lemonade, what can you do.....

Ugghhh, Of course I have been trying to get 2/26 all day and wondering why it's not available.
Now I see this message on the lunch fastpass page:

On Feb. 24, 2015 the lunch testing at Be Our Guest Restaurant will be ending. Beginning Feb. 25, log on to MyDisneyExperience.com for more information about dining at Be Our Guest Restaurant for lunch.

What's the word on this?
