Newly Re-Imagined Disney Magic Trip Report

Hello all,

We just came from our 6th Disney cruise in mid March and this time it was on the newly re-imagined Disney Magic. This was our second time on the Magic. The Magic was our first cruise 6 years ago, so this cruise was extra special to us because we are able to see the changes but also recall our memories form the first cruise.

You are very welcome. Glad to hear you got value from our trip report. If you have never been on the Disney classic ships, you will find it is much smaller then the Dream or Fantasy. It has a more cozy feel. We will be on the Wonder May 2015.

We generally prefer smaller shops but the Fantasy was so great we are worried the Magic might not live up to it, but we know the ports of call will trump the ship for sure.

That's going to be be tough call. We love the Dream and have been on it several times. The Magic is smaller and the recent upgrades have helped by it is very difficult to compare. In fact, I would not recommend people compare them at all. Both are great and provide very different experiences. In fact, we also noticed a very different mix and vibe when it came to cruise passengers too.

The Fantasy and Dream had many new cruisers and the Magic had much more Gold and Platinum Castaway members. This most recent cruise on the Magic was our Gold. So happy. Hoping to make Platinum soon.

Does anyone know it Disney has plans to re-imagine the Disney Wonder in a similar fashion as they did the Magic?
