I found out yesterday that my mother and sisters are planning a small family shower for me. I'm really excited-I wasn't sure anyone was doing anything.
I'm home today. I threw up until around 11. I am so tired of being sick. But the main problem is ds11. He has been sick since Sat, and got worse all wkend. He wouldn't eat (and he LOVES to eat), and has a horrible cough. I took him to the dr today, and he has bronchitis (just had strep throat in Jan) and a really bad ear infection. Also, she said his chest was so tight she is worried about asthma. She gave him a shot (he was not happy!) and a breathing treatment, and I have 3 prescriptions being filled at the pharmacy around the corner from us. And it is 9 wks test week!

If you started out your pregnancy thin or normal weight (not overweight like me) it's normal to gain weight even in the first trimester. If you kept on this weight gain rate, you'd have only gained 24 pounds at the end-- way less than the 35 that is considered normal and healthy for most women with a singleton pregnancy. Even now, you have considerably more blood volume than you had pre-pregnancy, and that means extra weight.
congrats on being a SAHM. It is wonderful, and I feel blessed everyday that we were able to do it.
) and they're all over my belly.
