DH and I both can handle change, I just get nostalgic like crazy and it saddens me sometimes.

I keep thinking about how much our lives are going to change and how little time we had with just the two of us (our 1 year anniversary is 2weeks before Lucas is due!) and it just gets me all teary eyed thinking about it. I'm such a dork! :rotfl:

We got a honeymoon souvenier...so I know what you mean about having little time just the two of you. But we are older parents and did not want to put off our family either. No regrets!;)

Thats a pretty great honeymoon surprise! :)

So, is being utterly exhausted no matter how much sleep I get going to be pretty consistant for the rest of my pregnancy? They told me the 3rd trimester (tomorrow, yay!) would lead to being constantly tired.. but I nap, and two hours later I'm done. I can't get ahead. :(

I already have a stretch mark--right around my belly button. *sigh* Not that I was ever going to bare my belly in public before I got knocked up, but still...:p

I have two that popped up just this past week near the top of my belly. I don't mind TOO much but I have been using that stretch mark creme they sell at the maternity stores. I don't know if it will really make any difference in the end but for now it makes me feel better to use it ;)

My BFF's SIL had a baby today 9lb 15oz... holy moly, big one! Thank goodness she had a C-section. I felt badly for BFF, so is having mixed emotions over the whole thing. If you remember she was due the same day as me but miscarried at the beginning of December. She has had wonderful strength dealing with everything.

Aww, congrats to them Ann!

I know SIL struggles with seeing my belly. She won't even look at me. :(
I can't imagine how hard it must be for her and so glad she has found the strength to be there for her SIL and yourself!

Oh..also wanted to say we've had a very active little boy the last two days.
It's like he woke up wanting to jazzercise after a whole freaking week of nothing!

My tummy keeps jiggling, you can see him moving all over the place through my shirts... it's nutty, in comparison to last week!

..and my stinkin OB's office called to say they left a message on MedVoice.
Well, I have a MedVoice password but no user number. So I'm a bit irritated.

I'm so glad the baby is moving now:banana: ! Now you can relax. Did I miss it-how was the "visit" with your mil the other day?

Ds11 is still very sick-hopefully the meds will kick in tomorrow. I have to go to work-exams start Wed, and I have to review my classes-so dh will be on duty tomorrow. The teacher beside me has a 9 month old. She was out today too-she emailed tonight and her baby has the flu! After the flu shot! So things could definitely be worse. She is out for the week, next week is spring break, and her kids have to take part of her state test (required to graduate) the week we get back:scared1: .

Just a shameless bump to see how everyone is doing?

Does anyone have there sex determining US coming up soon?? I love hearing what everyone is having.

I have been feeling well other than lack of energy and some constipation issues (over sharing I know) :lmao: but those are normal pregnancy issues.
We all know you loose some modesty once you have delivered a baby!:rotfl:

I find out on Thursday. The baby went through about three days of very little movement and it scared me a lot. Having had four healthy children, I just worry that my luck will run out with 5. I keep a personal blog and one of my friends chided me for not blogging about the pregnancy very much, but I'm afraid to "jinx" things by getting too excited before I have a healthy baby. Anyway, the little thing has wiggled non-stop today so I probably need to take a deep breath, relax, and look forward to Thursday.

Me, too. I have enjoyed watching and feeling him. :lovestruc

Uhm. Well. It created drama. :sad2: MIL has been wanting to help, but she doesn't drive. So she's been wanting us to go get her (which is an hour out there, an hour back, and then an hour to take her back and another hour for us to get home!) so we've basically said "No" to that because thats 4 hours of work we'd lose out on and we're on a time crunch with the painting because of the carpet going in a week from tomorrow. We said after the carpet goes in and things aren't so "get it done or else" we'd come get her and she could help after that.
Well, SIL brought her Saturday (and she brought her dogs, who left covered in paint! :rotfl: ) and I guess SIL commented on how crappy of a housekeeper I am. (Note: We don't live there, there is a contractor putting in new walls and cielings upstairs and a different contractor putting in a laundry area downstairs so there is drywall dust EVERYWHERE and it's just pointless to clean it when they come back on Monday morning, kwim?)
Anyway- so MIL actually did lots of work and was pretty helpful. She kept her mouth shut (maybe cause DH laid into SIL for the housekeeping comment :rotfl: ) or maybe because shes starting to learn to pick her battles and I'm here for the long haul. Who knows? We were pretty much both painting the nursery together, alone, for awhile.

Now, tonight BIL calls us and tells us that he's PO'ed at us because DH told his mom on Saturday that DH thought it was crappy BIL chose to go fishing instead of helping us paint. BIL told DH he doesn't work for "free" so why should he come help us when he wanted to fish? :sad2: DH told him because he is his brother. BIL starts screaming at DH again but ends up hanging up on DH.
Then, SIL calls DH and tells DH that he's a crappy son and treats his mom horrible and it's all his fault BIL just went to hit up the bar. Then she hung up on DH and called MIL and told MIL that DH drove BIL to the bar tonight! :scared1:
So DH calls MIL and asks if he's been mistreating her. She said "No, I understand how busy you guys are" and said something about how we're still newlyweds and enjoying each other :rotfl: . She sounded totally honest and then proceeded to complain about SIL thinking BIL is going to change his ways (the frequent trips to the bar) which cracked DH up.

I may have said this before, but SIL isn't really my SIL. She's just BIL's girlfriend of many years that I get tired of trying to explain so I just call her SIL.
Turns out, BIL didn't want the baby and SIL did. MIL thinks she got pregnant to try to keep BIL because since my FIL died, BIL has been *lost* and distant. Now BIL is re-evaluating her. :sad2:

I know that was a lot of ramble but part of me is :sad2: over all of this while the other part just wants to :rotfl: .
All because MIL came to paint on Saturday.

LOL!!! Patsy, what a drama you have :)
It's good to hear that Lucas is jazzercising hehe...

Our little one has a nightime schedule that goes like this:
approx 8pm start wiggling - don't stop until mom gets exhausted and falls asleep
sometime between 3-5am - mom goes for a bathroom break and start wiggling again to prevent mom from sleeping...
5am-7:30am - continue wiggling and keep mom awake until it's time for everybody to wake up... :thumbsup2

Last night we were watching TV in bed and the baby just started going nuts. I showed my belly to DH and even he was impressed.

And now I'm exhausted from getting about 5hrs of sleep/night for about a 3 weeks now...

December & Patsy, glad those two baby are moving away.

Cseca, try to rest whenever you can. My DS was cutting his second molars and I went on a couple of months with 5 hours sleep. It is exhausting and so hard being pregnant. I was extra tired all the time.

Melessa, :cool1: can't wait to her your big news on Thursday!!!!!

Patsy, family drama got to love it. Sometimes it makes me happy we don't talk to all of my ILs. It just makes life so much easier when people love to create drama.

Have a great day everyone, take care of yourselves and your little ones!
Ann

I'm so tired today. The time change coupled with rainy, dreary weather and not to mention pregnant! lol

I really want to go buy a decaf mocha, but then I'll just start craving the $4 little buggers again and that ain't happening!

It's so quiet over here...wonder if anyone will notice if a take a nap at my desk? :)

I'm home again today. Ds11 is sicker today than he was yesterday-the cough meds are supposed to be really powerful, but they haven't stopped his cough or put him out. Dh was going to "be in and out" but couldn't commit to staying in with him all day (we live where he works-in the middle of the park). I just couldn't leave him as sick as he was. I have to go in for about 2 hrs around lunch, because my 5th and 6th pds have their exams tomorrow. I took Nemo to the school this morning and told the sub as long as they were quiet today I didn't care what they did!

Harleyquinn, I was shocked to see your ticker at 20 wks, and realized that I need to post to see mine at 30!!!!!!!!

I hope he feels better! The annoying cough is the worst. You can't just sleep it off.

I know, 20 weeks!! Isn't going by so fast?!

Thanks Ann... I can imagine being exhausted prego and teething kid. I actually remembered when my teeth came out. I think that was the earliest memory I have. I was miserable with fever and stuff...
Hope your baby gets better soon.

LOL!!! You and me both. I am exhausted but I can't nap because contractors are in the house... :sad2: On one hand I'm happy they finally started, but I so wanted a nap :headache:

My little jazzerciser. :lovestruc
I was just laying in bed trying to figure out how to get into MedVoice (my Dr. calls and leaves messages and I have to use a login to get into it) and the kitty sat on my tummy.
Kick. Kick. KICK. Her eyes got huge and she BOLTED! :rotfl: :rotfl:

I think I've decided to laugh (when DH isn't around) over the family drama. They're so much different than my family, I just don't know what to think! :rotfl:

What a wonderful schedule your little one is on! I know you're ahead of me, how far are you again? I'm not looking forward to the stage where he's going to be keeping me up. :headache:

I hope those contractors finish up soon so you can get your nap! I've got to study for a midterm (8pm tonight!) and pop by the hospital for my glucose test and Rhogam injection sometime today. :scared1:

I think I might start referring him to as my little jazzerciser. :rotfl: :thumbsup2

Yep! DH keeps telling me he's done but then he gets sucked back in. Oh well. Lucas needs both his grandmas! Of course, we're still in the middle of drama from FIL's death in August. Bunch of a whack-a-doodles!

You too!!!

It's so quiet over here...wonder if anyone will notice if a take a nap at my desk? :)

Did it get FREEZING up there again? I went to bed sweating and woke up with my teeth chattering. :confused3

Give the nap a try! No can blame you!

And TWENTY WEEKS!! :dance3:
Has your MS gotten any better?

(And when do we get belly pictures? :rolleyes1 )

December, I hope he feels better soon!
How is your MS?

Oh, the message the Dr. left said the ultrasound looked completely fine and he's weighing in the 90th percentile so the Dr. has no worries!
