Is a whole day really a good deal??????
Free dining I would save $1,036.98
ONE free day would be 375.24
YUCK! Free dining please![]()

If it is a free park day, that offers absolutely nothing for those with Annual Passes![]()
to me making the announcement on NYE lets me think that they are trying to reach a wider audience. They know that annual passholders will return and return. Not a dig just my thoughts on it
That is true, but I just think at this point the general public is well aware of free dining and their 4 for 3 deals, or the children play free deal they had a few years ago. To go with ONE day free at this point, the public would laugh I think!
the ones that keep up with the Disney discounts and people that have travelled to Disney in the last few years. You would be amazed at how many people that I work with that have no idea of any discounts or how offers work for Disney. I think they are trying to reach people that aren't as familiar with Disney vacations. Doing it during the NYE party in NYC lets me think they are trying to appeal to more adults
Do these people live under a rock?!?! LOL Everyone I know, even aunts and uncles know about the Disney promotions!

so wait a minute...
is MK really open 24 hrs on Leap day or is that speculation? I have not really been on the boards much since we got back from our oct trip.
I ask b/c my 3 yr old was born on leap day, so this year is his first REAL bday and I was considering taking him on a mommy/son 3 night DCL or a weekend at the parks.
I'm almost positive that was one of the things they announced during the Christmas day parade.
Ooooohhhhh! Going to have to go! Only problem is finding a flight at a decent price.

A few tips that have helped me is to check your airlines of choice off peak hours, like late Wednesday or Thursday nights for a Tuesday through Thursday departure (generally cheaper days to fly) and clear your browser history after each search. Often there's something attached to your computer ("cookie" maybe?) that keeps the record of what price they gave you last time so it won't show you the newer, cheaper price.
Worked for me last trip! Price went from $500 to $350 from one hour to the next.![]()
