DS and I will be staying at Saratoga Springs for our December week - it'll be the first time we've stayed at a DVC resort and I'm very excited! It's getting quite hard keeping it a secret from DS as I keep starting to discuss some aspect of the trip with DD or DH and then shut my mouth with a snap as I realise he's is in the vicinity... :rolleyes1

I've got our tickets for MVMCP but apart from that it'll be a free and easy week. :cool2: Just want to soak up that Disney Christmas (2 of my fave things) vibe... :santa:

What are your dates again?

I know Grim and Aisling's crew are there on the holiday but cannot seem to remember what your dates are :confused3

Are you there the same time as me? My dates are Dec 8th to Dec 15th~

anyone have a LONG wkend? we sure don't - not with the 4th on a wed...so going to the office for a little while tomorrow & probably will on wed too....DH will definitely have too & DS will probably sleep in - so might as well!! MIGHT go car shopping tomorrow afternoon...??????

I am simply looking forward to not having to go to work~

This weekend will be quiet. Mon and Tues will be spent at the boutique :crazy2: and wed I told the boss I am taking off. I really am more of a skatepark kinda girl...working at our girl's store is a total drag~

My home store is closed for the holiday but the girl's store, being in the local mall, isn't. I sent the boss a text tonight reminding him that I am off that day making sure he knows that him and that store's manager can figure out who's working cause it ain't gonna be me.

My sister is having a BBQ next weekend, her township always does fireworks after the fourth and she lives two blocks from the field where they set them off.

Good luck finding a new car :woohoo:

Got any idea what you want yet?

i've been researching lexus & infiniti - haven't driven either yet...so we'll see...ryan gets his license soon so he gets my acura....

well todays been intresting
i got up and we went to the store, spent 60 dollers on food for this week. we went to frys. We saved 27dollers on normal food and chips and pizza and lunchbuels. then we saved 12 on pepsie they had a grate sell (i dont think we will need pepsi for two weeks) so by useing a frys card i saved 39 dollers, im putting that in my saveings for this nov trip (my bday in disney land)

Then we got home and made lunch my sopn was so hungry he went in the kitchen while the chicken was cooking and tator tots were cooling and he ate almost the whole pan *wags finger*

Then after eatting and watchiong a transformers thing i recorderd (cant wait im going at 950 tuesday morrning to see it yeahhhh)

Then we moved my comp around becouse we think the reson i was getting kicked off was the conection wasnt getting though all time since it was hidding and not getting air and what ever else..
Then took 30 mins getting my wireless keyboard to work agine
Finely back and saying HI

I went craft shopping today...

I sat in the yard for a couple hours first, while doing laundry...

I have a new reclining lawn chair I picked up at CVS...It's nice~

I like to sunbathe but have weird allergies. In english that means I can't sit on a lawn chair unless it's covered. If there is pollen on it I break out and if it's plastic (made of latex) I break out from it. This chair folds up like the soccer mom folding chairs (so I can put it inside) but has the leg rest at the foot of it so I can lay out on it AND it's made of fabric so no worries of plastic AND it has a side pouch big enough to hold my book and my sun oil AND the cupholder in the arm rest holds a very large glass!

best part, it was only $20~

Our local Rag Shop (craft store) is going out of business...

and I have a Magicmeet coming up where I promised to bring the crafts for the kids room. I went in the today and made out quite well. I got 3 books of Disney scrapbook pages, 4 books of construction paper, 8 glue sticks, a pack of letter stencils, two large boxes of crayons, two boxes of double sided stickeys, a bottle of tiki lamp oil (for my yard) and a glass "newlywed" picture frame (a friend of mine is getting married next weekend) for less than $50! At normal price the three books of Disney scrapbook pages alone woulda cost me $30~SO I done good :woohoo:

...now I am back to doing laundry...

and checking up on you all....

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend,

TTFN,

colleen.

Now that sounds a fab recliner, Tigg! :thumbsup2 I have these wooden ones (I think they're called steamer chairs) but I've never quite gotten around to buying the seat cushions that go with them so they're too uncomfortable to relax in for more than 30 seconds! Maybe that's something to put on my 'To Do' list..?

Feeling more than a little sorry for myself today. For some reason, my lower back has decided to give me grief and, due to meds I'm now taking for psoriasis, I can't pop Ibuprofen until I get relief! Sooo I'm trying to rest up but I'm going stir crazy!!!

Good Morning.....hope you all have a fabulous Sunday planned....Karen - find a good book to help you stay relaxed...you didn't hurt it at the corp event did you - with DH struttin you around - showing you off...."she does exist" :lmao: seriously tho - i hope you feel better SOON!!!! My DH has horrible back problems & when it goes out....oh he's in a world of hurt & looks twice his age

Colleen - enjoy that new lounger - i'm not one who can sit outside in the back yard often or for very long....(we NEED a pool)...but when i do - i sure enjoy "my" chair;)

Have a Creative Memories event today...going to work on some baby gifts...so won't be able to start our album from our last cruise yet again....maybe next one - which is only 2 wks away...i really do hope to then!!

Karen...I think you should go out just to get cushions...

maybe that can distract you for a moment and then use it!

Those are the recliners like on deck four right?

Yesterday was actually a test run...

That lounger is going to the beach with me at the end of August!

I like to sunbathe but don't get out there often...

when we go to NC, that's all I do...

as a matter of fact, that is how I spent most of our sea days on our Disney cruise :scratchin I didn't really use the chairs there either-for those not familiar, the adult pool has a ledge in it about 4 feet wide all the way around the pool. It's like laying on the deck except the pool water laps up under you like mini waves in the ocean :cloud9

Finally someone else who likes to lounge around the 'adult' pool edge - i can see it now....warm sunny days - water lapping to keep us cool and a BAHAMA MAMA or 2!!!:cool1: ...those cruises are the only time i ever get any real sun too....

Yay to that too!

Stefanie and Mom hung out periodically and DD only came to the pool when she was checking in with me. Aisling, Nan and Grim and Dede spent most of their days doing their own thing with the families and we would all meet up together each night at dinner.

:woohoo: I got me a pool buddy :woohoo:

I think i voted about 50 times & it was all worth it....read on~:cool1::woohoo:
"Not only is Barry Bonds going to the All-Star game in his home ballpark, he'll be in the starting lineup.
The San Francisco Giants star overcame a 119,000-vote deficit in the final days of balloting and finished 123,000 ahead of the Chicago Cubs' Alfonso Soriano on Sunday to claim the third and final starting outfield spot for the National League.
"I'm at a loss for words right now," Bonds said. "It just means more 'cause I'm at home. This is my town. This is my house. You can't say enough about being at home. It's great. This is the one I'll remember all time. This is the one I'll remember forever."
:cool1: :woohoo:
