Anna sounds like an amazing birthday. Happy Birthday and such a nice hubby

Things are good here I have to wait until Friday to start my meds because the RE is afraid the Follicle will start to grow again if it doesn't get under 10mm so Friday I start shots and Wed. I go in for an U/S and if all is well the IUI will happen Friday. WOO HOO!!!!!

That's a great plan! I like that your RE is being both proactive and cautious, really thinking through all the variables.

Such an exciting time for you, DH and DS!!!

Morning Ladies. Kinda frustrated today. I have left 4 or 5 messages for the IVF registration lady and she still has not called me back. I understand she was out for Easter break, Friday, but sheesh call already!!!

We had a great Easter at my SIL's house. I told both my SIL's about IVF adn they were both supportive which was great. I never doubted they would be and told them that if the IVF does not work then I will try a homeopathic Dr. for a few months and then call it a day. Knowing my luck I will be like one of those ladies on TV who will get pregnant for the first time at 57!

I want you all to know that I am pulling for yas and all kinds of pretzeled for yas too! Brewers Conference has me distracted this week, which may be a good thing, but I'm reading everything and celebrating every milestone with yas!

I'm scheduled to have an ultrasound on Monday evening and bloodwork. The bloodwork script just says PCOS screening, it's an internal blood drawing facility so she said that they just know what she wants

2 shots down, 1 more to go before my "checkup" Friday. Hopefully this dose is working well!! I already do feel some little things in my ovaries, so we'll see!!

I gave myself my shot today (in my belly) b/c DH was at work. I'm so proud, I think I did great. LOL

Today I ordered "the goods", and they will arrive Friday. Also my other injectables meds that the nurse requested for us (and I confirmed/paid for yesterday) came today by UPS. Won't need that vial til the weekend, but glad I have it. She also ordered my trigger (novarel again) so I'm glad to have that ready too.

I feel so accomplished today!! Gave myself a shot, meds that I ordered yesterday came in today, ordered the goods, and just have one more shot before the appointment. Uhh...I know all I did was reiterate what I already said -- oops!! But I do feel so good about it!!!

Injections are awesome....you get more appointments to look forward to. LOL

Hi to everyone.

Kenny and I went to the in-laws for dinner. It was very nice. They gave me two nice cards with a $50 target gift card and g-ma gave me $75. The food was good and I enjoyed seeing my MIL, FIL and Gma-in-law.

FIL is responding well to cancer treatments so that's good too.

Well......no AF yet. I feel fine otherwise. I am calling my gyno today to find out when my appointement with the RE is, still don't know.

I decided to cancel my D-Land work trip and go this fall on another one. I'm going to WDW for 5 days June 2-7. I'd never tell Kenny this, it'd give him a big head, but the reason why is 5 days is all I can be "Kennyless."

Quick check in! The Registration lady finally called so Mike and I are going on April 27th for our appt. We start with a class, 2 hrs; then a meeting with the dr. to sighn some forms; he gives a sample to freeze in case he is sick the day of insemination; we meet with a psychologist to go over the pros and cons. Day starts at 8:30 and ends at 3:30 pm. Then once I get my cycle for this month I need to go in and get an FSH screen adn another one and then start BCP's and when we come in on the 27th they will give us the schedule for meds and retrieval & insemination.

So here is my question, we go in on April 27th to start all this, when do you think is the earliest there would be an insemination? We are supposed to be going to WDW the week of May 22nd. I'm thinking that we may have to postpone? Anyone have any idea?

Cheri ~ So great! I'm so excited for you! The anticipation of the injections are the worst part but they are not bad at all. I'm lucky that i have alot of experience being a diabetic but if you are not one I KNOW it is scarey! Good for you for finding the bright side to it! That gives us all something happy to think about when you give that perspective. Thank you!

Anna ~ That's great about your b-day party. I love Target! Meg and I can easilly do alot of damage there

Tink n Pooh ~ The ultrasound will be a POC! I always seem to go to Cindy's castle during it so I'm not really there. Remember to find your happy place before hand.

OK back to work! Big party at the brewery tonight I'm in charge of the VIP's! My receptionist is in charge of me! It's going to be an interesting night as we are expecting over a 1000 ppl!

Not much going on here. Still using the Vitex and going to try some PABA complex vites this month. Not expecting too much but still worth the try. So badly want this to happen "naturally".

Sorry girl, but it's good that you know what's best for you guys. As for me and Ken, we are going to see the RE when we can get an appointment and get treatment for my fibroids and then see there we go from there. If it results in a child, that's great. If we can never have any, we'll either adopt or enjoy just being together. We have a terrific relationship as it is now and are truly best friends.

I will PM you about the products. I would be interested.

Last night, I had a nervous breakdown. AF keeps being late (I think it's stress. Not preggers, just tested) and everything was just aggravating me. I finally broke down and started screaming at Kenny for no reason. I apologized later and he said he understood. I feel so bad.

I am waiting on my dx to get in touch with me about my appointment with the RE. They're going through the insurance company.

I got an offer to work at an online tutoring company, but it would be full-time for 4 weeks. I have to take care of my g-ma too. (She has alzheimers)

It's just all the stuff lately keeps compounding and I'm ready to run! June 2 cannot come fast enough.

Oh, and I should tell you guys something....my name isn't Anna. Well it is, but that's my writing name. The name my friends all call me is my middle name, Gabrielle or Gabbie for short. So, I figured we're friends now, you can call me Gabbie.

Gabbie ~ Nice to meet you for real! Love the alter ego/ pen name too! So mysterious. I've been there done that for meltdowns. Sometimes it gets just so overwhelming and you can't make any sence of it until all the pressure gets out. It helps you think clearer. Kenny is a great guy and from what you have told us it doesn't surprise me that he was so understanding. I believe we all truely have special partners and we are blessed in that way.

So crazy a$$ few days here. Had the party on Thursday eveing and it was a great success! People are equating it to the "Top Chef" meet up of the Chicago Restaurant/ Beer elite. Awesome success for our brewery! Not such a great end to the night for me though. I didn't drink that much but had gone upstairs to change. I circled around my desk with my jeans and they got caught in my legs! I wound up falling on my knees and then onto my right shoulder and dislocating it Uggggg! Once i realize what i had done i braced myself against the reception desk, uncoiled and pushed back in set to rights. . . What the he double hockeystix was I thinkin! So shoulder is back in the socket but has been very painful all weekend as are my knees which are black and blue. That's what you get for rushin around!

On a side note, the 20 tylenol that I took over the weekend gave me some time to reflect. . . I thought that on Saturday am that AF had arrived. . . one week early to boot but no, false alarm Thank goodness. But I was thinking about it and thinking how Mike and I are planning on going to WDW the week of 5/22. With the fact that we are going to be starting this process in the next week or so, I'm thinking next week, then on BCPs for however long, then whatever course of action we have next we may have to move our vacation out by a week or two, I mean if it's possible, I need to double check with our DVC administrators, but anyone who has done this before (IVF not DVC planning ) I'm probably right, huh?

And that sounded really painful. Do you think you'll see a chiropractor?

If it helps you feel any better , my knee/shin was black and blue for a while and has now turned to a grassy shade of green, as it's healing. Over a week ago I slipped getting into the shower, and I caught myself with my right knee. Ow!! I knew it was gonna leave a huge mark. Yesterday we went to a nearby festival and it was so nice and pretty out. I put on shorts at first, and immediately took them off and traded them for some capris.

At least my belly hasn't bruised from the shots! (yet )

oooo owww I just did an all over body clench for you! Owwwww! Mike is calling his chiropractor just to get me in sometime this week. I usually go to someone about 40 mins away but there is so much road work on right now that it would take me a good hour and a half to get there and I just can't swing the time. We had beautiful weather as well and spent a lovely day in a small village near us window and regular shopping. I got 2 new pairs of sandles which I am psyched about! Very cute.

So I spent the afternoon working out timing and such and one think caught me off guard. OK if this doesn't work in May then I need to wait? What the heck am I thinkin! This is DCL for goodness sakes. If we need to change the date then we change the date and Meg goes away with her Mother for spring break again and we will have a lovely time going the following spring break or over the summer. I have 4 chances to try this before we lose the insurance coverage and I would like to try at least 2 times this year if May doesn't work and postponing for a trip that can be rescheduled! We can still go to WDW just not the cruise part if it comes to it. I'm 90% sure Mike will be behind me on this one especilly since it involves losing out on money
