New Topic on OKW and BWV

Thanks to all of you for answering my first question about which resort was more kid friendly.

Now,,,,,, I know that BWV has food places around it...

What about OKW... What kind of food places are there? How far from the studios? How far from three bedroom villa?

OKW has 1 table service restaurant - Olivia's at the Hospitality House. There is also an outdoor snack bar there, I'm not sure of the hours (not open for breakfast). There is also a snack bar at the turtle pond pool which is open seasonally. The rooms are spread throughout the resort, some are quite a distance from the main building. We always rent a car. All buildings have studios, 1 bedrooms, 2 bedrooms. The 3 bedrooms (grand villas) are in buildings 15,16,19,22,25,29,43,48,49,51,53 and 63.

If we stay in a three bedroom or a studio. Which buildings would be the best for short trip to bus stops or eating?

11-16, 23-26, 62-64 are the closest to the Hospitality House (main building). Most busses make their last stop at the HH, so you can catch a bus if you are farther away.

As stated, there are several bus stops throughout OKW, and all villas will be a short walk from one. Every bus stops at HH last, which is where Olivias restaurant is. All buildings (49 of them) have studios and 11 of them have 3 bedroom GVs.

There is not much for food choices there. If I remember when we got back after 10PM from the parks there were zero food options except the store-cooked up some wonderful Chef-boy-ardee . Not sure on room locations closer to Olivias.

I understand that the OP is going the end of January so I don't think the parks will be open that late. As long as they get food before 10 pm they'll be fine (and there are many offsite restaurants that will deliver to OKW---we had food delivered just before 11 pm this month there). In addition to Olivia's which serves B,L,D there is also Good's To Go for take out. It's located a little way down on the OKW boardwalk. They are open until 10 pm. You can also opt for a nice boat ride to Downtown Disney where there are many restaurants to choose from.
In order to be closest to the food options, I'd request "close to Hospitality House" on your reservation. You are going during a slower time of the year so you may have a good chance at getting the request honored.

I agree. Close to Hospitality House is best for food options. The take out is good quality from our experience. Delivery is option too as is the short boat ride to Downtown Disney, weather permitting.
